It is deeply concerning that CCTV cameras have been installed in the boys and girls toilets without properly informing parents or children. This lack of transparency may have breached data protection and privacy laws by failing to inform parents and children about CCTV in toilets. This raises serious privacy and legal concerns, and I hope the school will address them promptly.
Furthermore it may also breach the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR, which require individuals to be informed about surveillance and its purposes. The absence of clear signage further exacerbates the issue, and may violate children’s right to privacy under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
In a multicultural and diverse city like London, this decision is especially insensitive, disregarding the cultural and religious values of many families who emphasize privacy in sensitive spaces. The emotional distress caused by such measures highlights the need for schools to act with greater care and respect for their communities.
I strongly urge the institution to review its policies and engage with parents to establish practices that prioritize transparency, privacy, and cultural sensitivity.
The teachers were lovely, most were very nice. The students, that were there were very disrespectful, and many would bully each other. I'm not very happy about this, why have a school if you aren't gonna take care of the students!
Shame on you!!
Also there is barely any safety there, if someone comes in the school they wont know, as they leave the gate open at all times.
I’m extremely disappointed with the respect that is shown from this school once they have a child bitter taste in their mouth they label them. If I heard all the bad reviews before I would have listened to the other parents . This school takes more pride in looking how good the school looks and ofsted instead of actually looking after the children welfare. It’s supposed to be a multinational of culture but they have their sticks against other cultures and they hide it extremely well.
They don’t talk to the puppies they talk at them yet they demand respect no it does not work like that I wound never recommend this school especially under echp
in the girls toilet, they have windows to see everything you do in there (not stalls) and they have cctv in there and MALE teachers can see and go in there. The boys toilet is just open. They also have no doors. Very bad 😨 And a teacher once kept the whole class behind on period 5 for 10 minutes (last period) because we said bless you to a guy who sneezed because apparently its "calling out".. I swear that woman is an escaped mental asylum patient
