First time at a Taco Bell being a person that loves Mexican food especially from a local takeaway in Airdrie Scotland
So on hearing a new store opened in Cumbernauld 15 minutes from us we jumped to try it.
Looking at the pictures on the menu they looked big n chunky and very appetising so it was a bit of an anti climax when we received our order and got this limp squashed flat supposed burrito thing was like the scene from the Michael Douglas film Falling Down
Very poor and nothing like the advertised pictures
Standard fast food outlet will stick to Mexican takeaway “cartel” in Airdrie much better value for money
Mental health/illness and bullying is not taken seriously at this school, I attempted suicide in my last year and I was told to “be more resilient” and to “stop taking time off school”
Do not attend this god awful school if you want to keep your sanity.
I have severe mental health issues and due to this miss a significant amount of school in bad episodes. Pastoral there are not understanding whatsoever and even admitted to not having any mental health training. One of them has a degree in art. Teachers and pastoral invalidate many students on a daily basis including myself claiming things never happened. Teachers always force students to partake in activities that can send them into panic attacks and breakdowns and have a go at them when they can’t do it. Always punish the victim and let the perpetrator off without even a warning. Not to mention there’s known dangerous students that attend the school yet school refuse to do anything about it. Also won’t let me move schools due to the fact they’ll loose funding. The school continues to send my parents fines when I physically can not attend school even with notes from mental health professionals. Also have problems with giving students authorised leave when going to things like therapy or doctors appointments. Please shut this disgusting excuse of a school down.
School was shit and here is why! :)
1.) Doesn't accept anxiety as a legitimate reason for being off despite multiple letters from doctors / hospital and counsellors (was also sent various fines due to it)
2.) Teachers will shout / tell you off for having a panic attack
3.) Will force you into dance / drama even with socializing issues
4.) Lied to my counsellor about a meeting then blamed it on her
5.) Doesn't know how to deal with mental health
6.) Lied to my parents about how they dealt with me
7.) Headteacher didn't know what was going on until i told him on my last day
8.) Didn't do shit about students bullying my sister
9.) Forced me out of safe spaces in the school
10.) Had the audacity to let me continue speaking about personal issues to a teacher while he let his class listen.
11.) Was told off about my reading abilities despite having dyslexia
12.) Place was so bad i was too scared to go near the building thought all of yr10-11. Had to move schools
I went to to school a couple years ago with anxiety and dyslexia and had to leave early due to how i was treated by staff. They would always knock off attendance due to my anxiety not being a "legitimate" reason to be off and would repeatedly send fines my way despite having various doctors / hospital / counsellor notes. They would also remove me from the base (witch is practically a quiet room where you can do your work) as they believed that i was consistently using the rooms to avoid lessons. The staff would also commonly force me into situations that would bring me into a panic attack then shout at me for having the attack, they would also force me to stay in lessons while having an attack. I was also put into further stress / anxiety by being forced to read aloud when they clearly knew i had anxiety and struggled to read aloud normally, the school would also force me to partake in drama and dance lessons despite me being very self conscious, lucky the P.E teachers were very understanding. The school had also lied to my counsellor about a meeting time forcing her to miss it then blaming it on her. The school also has horrible communication as the head teacher didn't neven know what was going on until my last day there. This place will also not allow you to go home if you are feeling ill due to anxiety as it's apparently not a valid reason. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, even if you have good mental health.
This school is so bad I recommend you don’t go to it the teachers don’t do anything to help kids with ADHD or Anger issues. Certain teachers also pick on kids with behavioural problems and the teachers don’t believe the kids they always believe teachers. There is a lot more I could say but I don’t want to waste my time writing about such a place. Overall this is a terrible school and I would rate it no starts if I had a choice
Don’t go to this school, get treated poorly by everyone, horrible teaching, literally given me and my mate PTSD because of how much students there treat u poorly
