I was bullied constantly. The school did nothing. I was constantly targeted by a history teacher who still works there, and now my girlfriend, her brother and friend have been assaulted by two year 7s, a year 9/10 and a 16 year old guarded the situation when the bus driver tried to break it up. This school is absolutely mental and I will take them to court one day.
I have been told by an anonymous student that they are made to sit on floor and are only allowed to sit on a chair and use a table if the are well behaved. Shocking and disgusting
Bullying and victimisation.
No support from staff.
Impossible to get an appointment with principal to sort out problems.
You are allowed to the prom party only if you achive cetrain amount of achievement points through the year - discrimination.
Don't support any talents.
Food is awful.
Bullying and victimisation.
No support from members of staff.Impossible to get an appointment with principal to try and sort out problems.
Double standards for favourite pupil.
Poor staff, students often mistreated, with staff and teachers refusing to backtrack on their own mistakes, even when pointed out. And abysmal interiors, in-line with abandoned buildings, money spent in the wrong places and bad staff makes for a bad and uncomfortable learning environment. Frequent staff shortages and lack of spending create a toxic and Un-inviting environment. Despite the previously appointed short comings, the staff-student relations and overall behaviour of the students and staff has a friendly and welcoming attitude, despite the appearance of the school and the seriously lacking resources.
Terrible mental health support, enables bullying, homophobia/transphobia and **** *******. Utterly useless and don’t do anything beneficial for those struggling. They expect you to just think your problems away and victim blame.
The classes are pretty good, they teach things well, but they really need to fix the way they deal with mental health. They suspected I had a mental problem and didn’t bother doing anything about it until a year later when I got diagnosed. The way they deal with students who aren’t yet diagnosed and don’t see them often is appalling. Half the time they shrug it off and tell them to deal with it.
The PE department is pretty bad, too. They definitely favour some students over the other, if you clearly show problems with anxiety, running problems etc., they hardly ever care unless you get someone else involved.
Personally, south axholme is an incredible school, definitely one to go too. Their staff are unbelievably talented and are so enticed into their subjects, which makes it more beneficial to students. The relationship formed in between teachers and students is incredible. Students aren’t scared to talk to them about anything. Especially mental health. The pastoral team is fantastic also!
However, my only complaint is the PE department. This is heavily influenced on favouritism, if you are a sporty child then the staff will admire you, but, the issue is the sport you do. If it isn’t a original sport they won’t appreciate it. I myself, do something out of the ordinary and the staff do not seem to be slightest bit interested. So they don’t like me.
The grades on the other hand, are phenomenal. You as a student are bound to come out with amazing scores, doesn’t matter if your not that intelligent or not.
Overall South Axholme, is amazing! Definitely recommend it.
came out with good grades nothing wrong with the teaching. but SOME teachers seem to be more bothered about uniform than saying “good morning” or “how are you” and then expect you to correct the uniform for the next day! unbelievable that they think every parent has the transport and funds to do that!
South axholme school is the worst school i have ever been to. I got bullied there 2 and got assalted 2 aswell. The head teacher there didnt do anything about the bullying. I highly reccomend not going to that school!!
