Smithdon high school , it used to make me feel absolutely depressed to wake up too every single morning. It is the most depressing school to go and send your kids too , you will get allegations that you haven’t even done and blamed for , smithdon needs to improve its ways if you want to send your child or children there , my daughter who is age 12 who is now in year 8 says smithdon doesn’t make her feel safe and welcomed , cameras in the toilets making her not wanting to go to the toilet as she fears there is a anonymous pedophile listening to her pee , she has walked past the janitors officer while he is watching the toilet cameras I think it’s honestly really pedoish to watch kids go to the toilet , I am completely disgusted that there is no door when u enter the toilets so if you walk in the hallway you can hear kids going to the toilets , it’s like a prison in the morning my daughter says as the headteacher makes you stand out in the cold ,wet windy , hot , weather , talking to the kids through a microphone, I’m absolutely disgusted with this school , the buildings are that old they are beginning to fall down and have scaffolding holding them up

These people are not helpful
When I went to smithdon I struggled all the way through well up til year 10/11 when they actually listened for once I barely got help up until then and I got bullied for the most littlest of things and the school did nothing got to the point where I refused to go really anyways I just had a horrible experience

My experience at this school has been very mixed. In some aspects the school is excellent while in other aspects it isn’t. If you are looking for a school for your child to be well taught, I would recommend Smithdon High. It is great for being within Hunstanton where there are many children ready to go to high school. This school will give you the results you need to get into college, and further on in life.

My experience as a student
Warm welcome in year 7! Just left year 11, with no problems throughout my time there. *Most* teachers are kind and willing to help students with their problems, whether they’re educational or personal. All subjects passed, with one 9, three 8s, four 7s, one 6, one 5, and a L2M. Could not have asked for a better secondary experience! Just a few misbehaving students, but they were handled very well by teachers.
