Safety concerns and bullying - smoke and mirrors
The school has a multitude of outstanding staff, but the recently appointed deputy head and head are gradually destroying the school. They openly dislike certain students, have pulled therapeutic interventions - even though the school claims it is a therapeutic provision, staff are bullied and abused, safeguarding is at an all time low as is actual learning taking place on site. A MAT recently took over the school and were made aware of the huge concerns staff had and yet they have made the decision to appoint their interim head as their permanent head - who staff specifically complained about formally and there was even an investigation from a whistleblow. Senior management at the school are inexperienced and work to their own agenda. OFSTED should be able to get to the bottom of everything going on there - but the headteacher is very, very good at talking. I worry about the students, families and staff of this provision
