The inappropriate things that the lesbian kids do is outrageous they do things like they are not little kids. It's honestly disgusting that the school allows the children to be come this way
An okay school... except for how things are handled.
Okay, don't get me wrong. Sometimes this school is great, however that is provided that you get a good teacher. For example, the teachers who actually care make lessons quite nice. However, those are the minority of teachers. I have even noticed a few of them telling us things that weren't even true.
I've received death threats from another student and the school, handled it very poorly. Despite this being a literal crime, they basically just gave her an isolation and didn't even tell her parents.
Other students have harrassed me for things such as having a sensory overload, (I'm autistic) and even when the teacher was right there, nothing was done.
This review is quite messy, but I do hope people can understand my opinion.
Worse school in the world. Dogs get treated better at Battersea dogs home than students. Ever since Mrs Angus the headteacher came to school the school went downhill. Imprison are better run that this shit school
I attended this school for 5 years, and it would've been hell if I didn't meet the very few amazing teachers there. In general, the education is OK, but most teachers don't take into account the fact that different students have different learning styles. Most of what I learned at GCSE was self-taught, which not many people can accomplish. There were 3 teachers who were absolutely amazing though, one English teacher, a physics teacher, and a French teacher. I'm actually very glad that my year group had to leave early due to the first lockdown.
Not a good school. I attend this school a while ago and I had dyslexia and autism and felt that I wasn’t getting the results extra help that I needed. A lot of the teachers were quite rude and didn’t support the needs of the the students in class. Instead warnings and c2’s and c’3 were just given out as a way of trying to deal with a situation and I personally I think that is wrong. Instead they should have just talked to the student individually away from the rest of the class and get to the core of the situation and work it out that way as that is more appropriate.
Teachers secretly pick favourites. If your not one then you get picked in all the time and the teachers are just rude to you. There has been a rumour about one of the male teachers asking a student to take her shirt off. The school only cares about grades and it’s reputation. They hire unfair supply teachers-one I had for ages gave out a C3 to someone for asking for help with their maths work, they didn’t listen to us when we brought the situation up. Just told us to behave better. Apart from being told that if you have any mental health issues to go and tell someone, they do nothing to help! They have no consideration at all for our well being. The Covid regulations they have put in place are useless. We have 2 entrances and all year groups are shoved through them. During out fire drill, my year was still stuck inside the upstairs of out science building-with gas pipes- and not allowed out because of the other year groups lining up! If that was a fire and one of the gas pipes had caught on fire our year would have been blown up!! We do get good grades, but only because the teachers drill the information for our tests into our brains. Some teachers are very nice to everyone and good teachers in general, but only a few. There are frequent physical fights aswell.
This school does nothing to try and help with mental health except a short ‘be positive’ in the morning. The school doesn’t care about the mental well being of the students students and only about good grades and their reputation. For example most of my friends who have had mental health problems in this school (including me) have not got the proper attention and care they deserve. These problems include self harm, suicide attempts, anxiety, panic attacks and dealing with pronoun changes.
