The School fine some teachers are really good, most are just okay. Foods acceptable, quite nice even. I found the pizza disapointingly small. Both the inside and outside of the school is fairly comfortable, the trees are nice. I found it easy enough to go around the school except wherever I went I couldn't get away from him... he would always be lurking around corners... that one teacher, you know who. Like a ostrich - his long neck always stretching around to look at you, unnervingly. But then as soon as you approach him he backs away. At any sign of aggression he will stand and stammer, clacking his beak uselessly. Worst class ever. Anyway aside from that the schools good. They don't quite deal with misbehaving children that well, but they try. Hope the school only improves!
Pretty good school. (Most) Teachers do genuinely seem to care about students. They try to deal with bullying as best they can but aren't the best at it.
At the moment unfortunately there is a lack of teacher jobs in the area which I completely understand but as a result the recently employed teachers are awful and the headteacher and teachers that have more power fail to realise this. This unfortunately has an affect on the students and I know speaking from experiace, you can go a whole term without learning anything (in your favourite subject) becuase the teacher is less that adiquit. To add - the students have had to miss out on subjects that used to be an option and could change their lives (ie drama) becuase the school is unable to employ somebody suitable. I know this isn't exactly the schools fault but many of the teachers affect the students wellbeing and the subjects that they have been employed to teach. Furthermore with the recent acts to try to speak up about mental health, it is quite pointless. All I ask is that the headteacher and teachers that are in charge of employing and interviews would be more considerate about what subjects are suitable to the teachers background in teaching and if they are the type of person to win the student and classes respect.
Most teachers are lovely, but the way things such as bullying/mental health problems/etc are handled by the head team is absolutely abhorrent. Accountability is being removed from younger pupil and instead projected onto the teachers and senior pupils. There has also been a struggle to get period products in the toilets as they keep being removed. I’ve found teachers to be more supportive than the head team in several instances.
Any issues, technical or not, we're resolved well and usually quickly. The head team and staff are always reliable and they can be very good help. The teachers and staff are mostly good, even the harsher ones. Finally, most of the people I've met and journeys we went on during exodus were amazing. I will be sad to go. It was an amazing experience.
