My son started Year 7 in September and he loves the school. So far, he had only praise for the school and so do I. There is plenty of homework and he is very self conscious and works without me nagging him- they have a rewards system that encourages boys to up their game.
Years 7 have their own playground, which helped my son settle easily.
I would say it’s a strict school, so if this is what you’re looking for , this is the place.
Head teacher is racist and disrespectful to parents
Teachers are rude to students
School is dirty and has a seagull infestation meaning birds dedicate on kids
As new parents to school, one of the major plus points for us is that the teachers are big hits with our boys so we couldn’t ask for more. The education, well-being, character and morality of the boys is clearly a priority for the school to maintain and although not the ideal introduction to the school, the efficient adaptation to COVID restrictions shows the dedication of the teachers and the schools to their pupils and parents. Clearly with great leadership from Mr Bryant and his senior team; the staff are indeed the backbone of a school, one which is looking to establish themselves as one of the best all inclusive boys schools in the area. Add to that huge investment in new buildings and resources we hope that the school will go from strength to strength in the coming years.
