I'm extremely disappointed with Saint Gabriel's College. As a parent, I expected a safe and supportive environment for my child, but unfortunately, that's not what we got. The bullying was rampant, and the school's response was inadequate. The teachers seemed overwhelmed, and the curriculum was unchallenging. The food was also subpar, with long queues and limited options. My child felt like they were just a number, not a individual with unique needs and concerns. I would not recommend SGC to anyone.Also a parent broke into SGC to confront a student and threatened them . Ms Lopez, head of year 7 , only favours the Spanish and is disrespectful to most people ( but mostly black people ) as she gives dirty eyes and is disrespectful Ms Joseph doesn't bother to do anything about bullying. She hopes that giving them a warning will do something, continuously lying that next time, there will be sanctions, when there never is. Additionally, you could say very unkind things about another student to her face, and she wouldn't do anything. Also, whenever a student isn't in, she'll say that it is a safeguarding concern, but when they do come into school and report about an incident, she doesn't find it a safeguarding concern. What is the point of begging a child to come in, saying you're worried about their safety, but when they do come in and complain, you do not care?

Would not recommend. For a Church school, there is no compassion, understanding nor empathy. Cold-hearted and cold-blooded staff operating this show.
I wouldn’t recommend sending your child here
This school is not safe, the school reception is not secure. The other day, a parent broke into the school and went running all over the school to try and hit a certain child. It took leadership a long time to get her out the building. Another thing, their investigations are terrible. They really don’t know how to do a proper investigation. Another thing, my child was placed in centre (isolation) for 1 day because she had “2 parkings in a day” even though the parkings got taken off. My child told the staff in centre “I’m not meant to be in here.” and explained but the staff ignored my child and she had to stay in centre all day. You don’t learn anything in centre, you’re given a work pack for one subject and you do that the whole day, the work pack is always either old work or work you haven’t done yet. Sometimes when they’re too lazy to get the correct year group work pack, they’ll give you a higher year group’s work pack and say “challenge yourself” but none of it makes sense because that’s not what you’re learning at the moment. SGC needs major improvement.

firstly sending your child or others is an idea personally but in my opinion, you should not being a parent and taking a child to this school is horrid a child would crying a wanting the worse for themself as a parent I cry from how sad my child is I'm not too fond of this feeling and I think the principle is very prejudice to a particular group of color and especially a teacher or T.A I think her name is ms mimi or makoco is very sexist to boys and acts like she is the same age as the females yr8,9,10 and caught calling the yr 8 boys idiots and picks on them they cry and she provokes fights between young girls very furious and the burritos are horrid my child had diarrhea from burritos and the very hard baguettes and they like to water down black history and the restrooms (boys+girls) are very revealing no privacy for girls when on period. the best teachers are Mr baker the basketball coach and Mr wong including ms yung and ms morgan. also wee on restroom floor and walls and very inappropriate messages on walls including sexual intentions and racism

I’m going to be honest....
Honestly, this school is pretty bad (archbishop is still worse, but this is defo top 10 worst schools in lambeth). Bullying is RAMPANT, some people say its 'banter' but its just annoying, you can literally bully someone infront of a teacher and you'll get a slap on the wrist. Management system is pretty terrible, if a student is bullied and in the low chance its being dealt with, they are singled out, so therefore they will be outed out as the 'snitch' honestly i'd expect better from most of these teachers as some of them are young and seem like they'd know this generation. Lunches are HORRIBLE, even my primary had better food than this, and their fish n chips made me throw up!! The Burritos used to be a decent lunch but now they're terrible, with a disgusting yellow rice and curry instead of the decent b tec jollof rice. IM NOT EVEN JOKING, it is SO greasy! Even my local chicken n chips shop have less grease than it, think about this, CHICKIEN AND CHIPS HAVE LESS GREASE THAN THIS SCHOOL'S BURRITOS, is this a joke or something? They try to promote 'healthy eating' yet they feed the children to become a Poundland version of Shrek. No wonder recently many kids are gaining weight after mass burrito eating.
Next point: It is a so called 'Christian school' this statement makes me laugh so much its actually MAD, first of all it is more Catholic than Christian, as we have to call** ********* ******* *********' basically the pastor of the school. Although the Bible (Which this school is supposedly with) says to not call people on earth 'father' your only Father is in Heaven who created the world.. It also promotes LGBTQIAIAALSKDAKMX+Pedos like its nothing, (watch people call me 'hOmOpHobIc' for expressing free speech btw, but if ur gay, ok thats cool thats you, but I dont swing that way, however i not even joking this 'Christian school' has more things, lessons posters etc about the gender benders than the literal Bible itself.. not even joking i dont even know if theres Bible Verses in this school apart from advisories which are just pushed away at that point.. many more things i could go on about but i'll save them for later... have a good day/night lol
MORAL OF THE STORY: If your child isnt a 'leng ting' or in simpler terms, has something about their appearance that is slightly wrong and is not a class clown (as class clowns are treated like kings/queens in this prison) then they're assured to get bullied, the education is whack and im not even sure if i've learned anything in my years of this school, not even joking had a tutor for a year that taught me more maths, English, science and nonverbal verbal than this school. No wonder Ofsted rated it a simple 'good', which in their terms actually means 'okay if we're stretching it, but WAY better options out there, avoid this one if you can and if its hopefully not local as many people i know got dragged into this school, not because they chose it but because they lived near it.
Also, if your child is not THAT sociable, like they arent a kid who makes dirty jokes 24/7 and moans in others ears (people in SGC will know what im talking about..), also if they arent on snap 24/7 taking out their phone in class, chances are that ur child will get bullied, ignored and will definetley not have a good time.
