I think Rye college isn’t good for children
i go to this school and i struggle a lot, im not a misbehaved child but i stand up for my rights and equality. the excuse for boys being rude is boys being boys or they brush it off like it’s nothing. teachers pick on you and they care more about your uniform than your mental health, they claim to care but they really don’t. this school has made me very tired mentally, if a good child gets something right they brush it off but as soon as a “bad” child gets it right they get positive points which is not showing that if you are a “misbehaved” child than you will get rewarded more. they only care about uniforms, behaviour etc if you are starting to misbehave they do not care at all they will shout at you and scream at you never ask why you’re misbehaving and misbehaving is a massive sign of struggling. teachers pick on students a lot and if you tell someone they don’t listen, they don’t answer their phone when parents ring about situations that is going on in school. they brush of bullying like it’s a normal thing they do not keep their students safe. i do not feel safe at this school

Horrific school
The school was absolutely horrendous, I went there for two years and I have not seen a worse school in my life, the teachers do not care about what they do, they have blatant favouritism and the actual education in the school was terrible, I had to get through knowing what I knew from my last school. My parents questioned about having me tested for dyslexia at one point and they denied the test, since then I have been tested and it has been proved than I do indeed have dyslexia. One of the students sole a knife from a DT room and attacked two other students with it, this same students didn't get into any trouble and went on to become head boy. On top of this it was also the most disorganised school I have seen.This school is absolutely appalling and if you are looking at going to the school I suggest find elsewhere

A truly disgusting show of ignorance happened at this school just this week. Teacher from this school berating her year 9 students and threatening to have them thrown out of school for not accepting that someone can “identify” as a cow or cat. Also the school is teaching their students that there is over 100 genders and calling any student who disagrees with this a bigot and stating their family are likely also bigots.

My children go here and its turned into a prison . They are never going back. The staff are horrible to the students and don't care about mental health. Teachers bring there own children into school . Seriously it's so bad. Should be closed down

it is really bad. i hate the school so much, they don’t do anything about bullying or any sort of other thing. they just say ‘stay away from each other’ like that’ll do anything.. but the food tastes like prison food.
