They allowed a child get assaulted by another student, had a broken nose and other injuries and failed by calling in fro medical help, but called the child’s parent and allowed the child to wait 1 hour for their parent to collect them to then take them to the hospital.
Some of the children through racial slurs at the few black children that attend the school.
What is the school doing about it ? Nothing !
Must you wait for a child to get murdered before you take action ? Or wait for a child to commit suicide due to being bullied at the school ??
Yes the school is known to be top, but as well as being top ACADEMICALLY, Children must also be top in their behaviours ! Teachers must also act accordingly
Utterly disgusted

If only I knew then what I know now! If your child is super clever, a high achiever and super fit then no problem. If however your child needs any type of support or becomes seriously ill during their time at RWBA then it is heartbreaking the complete lack of communication and support of any type you will or should we say will not recieve.
Constant battles to get any sort of help, advice or assistance. I used to be a teacher myself and was shocked with how pupils and parents are treated.
Some amazing teaching staff but equally some that need to leave the profession! Would definitely not recommend to anyone!

Due to ME being the head now after MC left two years ago the school had now deteriorated and become extremely bad . The school takes a huge LGBTQ+ focus and only cares about this if you say something transphobic or homophobic when they are just your beliefs you will receive immediate sanctions such as IER and suspension but if something happens to you like bullying racism sexual harassment sexual assault it will be overlooked and when reported nothing will happen.

Awful school! They say one thing and do another thing!
Cant even get their own spelling or basic formatting correct in letters from staff that are sent home. A very small handful of staff are passionate about their subjects and develop that same passion for their subjects in their students, sadly though many of the staff just dont care at all! Cant wait for our child to leave and go to college now.

Pathetic failure of a school. As a year 7, they nobody except other year 7s care about you. You are lucky to not get shoved into a wall in a day. And the corridors are too crowded so you get pushed, shoved, and squeezed about everywhere. The teachers act like they are helping with the situation but it's quite obvious they don't. The teachers rules are horrendous, as the PE teachers rip your head off over socks. Every member of staff actively do and try to get you to spread propaganda about how 'good' the school is I'm only here because my friends are

Can improve internal and talking to each other and students parent
I have kids in two large local schools and this is one.
It is hard to be excellent in all areas and we find this at RWB.
Strong on discipline
Good academically
Re. Sports, arts etc could do better
Area needing most attention- is internal communication, homework and event planning should be better considered to ease pressure on parents and children's mental well-being. A policy of tell us kids if you already have a lot of homework - when this information is published by teachers has holes in it so is largely ignored as far as we can tell.
Hi,
I have just started a Rwba and I already love it! All the equipment is brand new and everything is in good condition. All the teachers are lovely!!! Deffo recommend
The school is awful was there for two years and couldn't wait to leave the people are horrible and if u aren't smart they don't give a shit. Also any child that kicks off alot gets no punishment just to skip lessons and do whatever tf they want whenevr they feel like bc school cba. The teachers r the worst most are sexist and live to ruin your mental health.

The school, first of all, pretends to care about your mental health, but in reality they just schedule you a meeting with your head of year and then go onto call your parents, which is the last thing you want them to do in this situation. From experience they speak to you once or twice and then they totally forget about you and move onto the next charity case! The uniform code is RIDICULOUSLY strict to the point where you'll get an hour after school detention for wearing "the wrong colour socks". Not to mention the torture devices you have to wear around your necks (landyards). A few of the teachers are nice but unfortunately, this does not combat the fact that there are many teachers who are horrible, clearly have favourites or are just scary. One of my year nine teachers traumatised me and I was scared to go into his lessons. The PE department is the worst. They get so triggered when your "wasting your lessons time in the changing rooms" when they are the ones who turn up 5-10 minutes late for the lesson. Not to mention, they make you stand there in the freezing weather without a coat when they look like their ready for a ski trip?! For an 'ofsted outstanding school' they have a lot of things they need to fix.

It’s awful, teachers act as if they care and want to listen to your issues only for them to tell other people your issues and trusted information. There’s no one to talk to without it getting back to parents or other teachers knowing. The worst part is everything you do it’ll be against at least one school rule. It’s unbearable and majority of students hate going here. As said in some other reviews, the school is run like a business and funding has been put into things that don’t need it and taken away from making the actual students happier.

I had to leave this school due to bulling issues and poor mental health support. I've also seen lots of homo and transphobia. Students aren't allowed to express themselves either. It's run like a business. They don't care about the students unless they are academic geniuses or if they are kicking up a fuss. I was a quiet kid who struggled academically and now I'm someone with several mental health issues thanks to the school. Don't force your child through this if they are anything like me.

don't give a shit about mental health problems even though they act like they do. the amount of misogynistic homophobes in this school is literally so many and they're all so gross. people fake depression for attention. i'm genuinely so happy there was a pandemic so i didn't have to put up with the shit people you constantly have to be around. teachers are either way too strict or can't control their class. the drinks are banger though
