I attended this school not long before it became an academy. I also had a sibling attending only a year behind (male). We mostly only have good things to say about Roebuck, at our time of attending (be aware this may be outdated) it was a great school however the one issue we had was how they dealt with bullying. By bullying I mean that the only real problem was bullying, not how they dealt with bad behaviour, just bullying. They allowed it to get worse and worse until they felt the need to step in (this was when it got physical and risked someone's life). Apart from this clear problem the staff was great (they most likely have changed more than half of the staff by now as this was approximately 5 years ago). Another problem was that the staff made false promises to the students, when we transferred to our secondary school we were promised a visit from the Head teacher as we were very nervous as any 11-12yr old would be. They never fulfilled this promise which made the students made at the school and loose trust in the school they thought would be their for them, but in reality they just moved in the next set of students and forgot all about them.
