Reigate College will promote as mental health advocates for their image but do not care about children that study there or their welfare, wellbeing, and mental health what so ever. All this college cares about is getting the grades so their reputation remains. They will squeeze those who are vulnerable and going through any kind of struggles, if a child is not up to their standard, instead of giving them any support they very much need. I advise you not to send your teenager to a college that will knowingly send a child to near suicide without any regard what so ever.
Reigate college was the worst two years of education in my life. The support was awful for all alevels I took (Geography, biology, maths and chemistry) and the overall stigma of the place was rubbish. My current university supplies more close relationship between lecture and student then when I went to college, and that speaks levels 💀. Getting to know people was very limited as there are so many people and no one wants to talk. If you don’t know anyone beforehand good luck as I feel sorry for you. The support system in place lack heavily. Go to a sixth form you’ll end up with better grades and a better experience.
i think this is one of the best schools i've been to.Unfortunately i had to leave because the travel was expensive and very far but overall this college is amazing. The teaches are really good their and can actually teach unlike most school teachers and really nice as well. They let you have your freedom and treat you independently. The environment is really nice and welcoming and everyone at reigate is really nice and friendly. The food is also amazing and everything there is just so easy and perfect and they were always making sure and asking the students if they could do anything to make the school better.
Can't beat Reigate College. There is a reason it is ranked so highly in public further education. There is really a sense that teachers care about the students and there is such a rigorous system in place to keep students in line with their studies that clearly works. Having undertaken Politics, the small politics department worked extremely effectively and was constantly a help throughout the course. The equipment used in Media and Film studies is very very good and staff operate at a professional level of usage for the software we were using. Groundskeepers would always have a laugh with you on entry, but were firm with making sure that the college stayed secure. The location allowed for quick trips to Wagamamas, Nandos, M&S, Morrisons and Starbucks at breaks and lunch times and in free periods. The quality of classrooms for the most part is great, with the County building letting the side down due to the aging science labs. Rushworth, Priory and the Performing Arts centre were all of particularly good quality. Active and engaging careers officers were very good at helping students with their post-college ventures. There is a strong sense of community and a charitable drive at Christmas that allows the college to retain a favourable view of local business and residents. All round great college, very few negative things to be said.
