Not a good school!!
Nothing works properly and parents are only giving excuses

Someone needs to set up a legal challenge to their detention system no one likes bad behaviour but for the smallest thing can only do more harm than good School should be a pleasant experience not destroy confidence with stupidity

Had a threatening email about what they will do to you if the child you are responsible for misses school yet they been striking and other disruption to their education I am absolutely furious only threaten people when your own house is in order or wait for someone to do something wrong, will be glad when the person we are responsible leaves.

In this school now and all teachers care about is looks mearly grades, my mental health suffers because of this school it is an absoloute joke

The priorities are very weird like the focus on uniform over education and the behaviour system is also messed up. You can get the same punishment for a too light shade of grey socks as for smoking, vandalism and bullying. This schools makes a mockery of education and I would not recommend going here if you want to seceded in any academic area, however I would recommend QE if you want to learn that your appearance is worth more than your knowledge. I think the uniform rules are sexist and the school does not encourage individuality. Furthermore I have been made to wake up 40 minutes erlier to get to school sooner so that I can sit through gender lessons when they only teach us about heterosexual relationships and we have even had lessons titled how to be a boy or a girl. The students are under too much pressure and if any student needs support it is hard to find. The new one way system introduced makes it difficult to arrive at lessons on time and you will miss lessons to sit in a room called rtl all day and 2 hours after school when revision could be happening and not learn because you have your top button not done up, at breaks teachers and employed 6th formers prowl around to check your top buttons as you go for your 20 min break. Also the rules are that students will be sent to rtl and detention if they are using the bathrooms between lessons. The school does not let students go to the bathroom in lessons and I think it embarrasses students that have to beg teachers to use the toilets in lessons, this defaces a human right. You are not allowed to fill up water bottles or go to the loo in the obscenely long 2 hr lessons even in the summer , from lack of water and too much sun I have had to stay off school becise I have become ill in a lesson. God help this school and the bunch of dicksplats who set up this corrupt system that sets children up to fail. Parents often regret sending their children here. Finally 9/10 the students going here finish school as chavs who no longer care about their grades but will know how to do their top button up

The school is very strict and very unfair. Having your top button undone, your tie slightly short or loose, your shirt untucked and many more stupid reasons can get you sent to isolation all day + two hours after school with no chance of appealing since they never listen to you. They don’t care about the students, only their reputation.

Behaviour system is awful and very unfair, teachers will vary in strictness so u have to change how u act to fit their views each lesson. They dont care about your mental heath as much as they say they do, food is very nice and it has quite good departments. It has a low budget which is hardly spent on the students. Unfair

Teachers are good all round. The behaviour system is kind of broken and some teachers then act like they are law enforcement. All departments are great though. Would recommend if you were to move into the area.
