Prestwick Academy

Terrible school, my 14 year old has been significantly bullied for over 1 year now, where he is afraid to go to school. 7 meetings with the heads of the school the codirector of education the campus "cop" and they cannot keep my child safe, he has been assaulted in class infront of staff who let it happen without any intervention, the people in charge of the school and the campus cop like to deal with these things by sweeping in under the rug so they can TRY and give there school a good name. If you ask any questions they cannot answer they hang the phone up which happens to myself with PC Skykes and Miss Miler this morning. I know speaking to other parents that this is not isolated to my son and at least 4 other children some who have just started S1 are being targeted by the same children but the school claim they cannot do anything about it apart from my son having to go to school late avoid certain areas and classes. Ridiculous the children that think they can bully other kids should be the ones kept out of the way of decent hardworking kids. If Prestwick don't step up there anti bullying and deal with these delinquents I am worried that a young child may end up taking there life.

Teachers care very little about mental health, bullying, homophobia/transphobic and racism. Very few good teachers. I received a concussion at school from other students and nothing was done about it.

Nice, helpful teachers. Good subject options. Good facilities. Fairly new building.

Shit, teachers are limited and they can’t deal with anything.
