Teachers at Pool Academy have totally failed Dagmara by ignoring her genuine bullying concerns.
Dagmara died in Pool Academy school by suicide on 17 May 2016 because she could not take any more.
Dagmara was unlawfully discriminated against because she was Polish, beautiful, intelligent and gentle creative soul RIP Sweetheart.
My son goes to this school, and gets sent to reflection for nothing. So does his mates, and his teachers don't care and don't get punished if in the wrong
My child was put in isolation for her hair i am extremely angry about this and she got suspended for it as many others did. i think these rules need to be changed immediately.
Disgusting. My litte girls went straight to reflection because their hair was dyed in colours they say in their policy is ok they then got suspended in the first half an hour for talking when it was other people around them my son got put in there all day just because he had unpolished shoes. This school is such shit. Sort it out!
My daughter got put in isolation for the entire school day just because she had a little bit of blond at the bottom of her hair this school is honestly getting ridiculous
My little girl was isolated from her friends first day back
My year 8 daughter on her very first day
back to school was welcomed with a inclusion. Only for wearing black leggings instead of a black trousers or there pathetic looking quilts . She was stuck in a boiling hot classroom, and was not allowed to leave the room, not even for a bit of fresh air and was isolated from her classmates that she was looking forward to seeing again after a long summer break. This school has gone even more into the shit, sort it out!
I cannot praise Pool Academy and it’s staff enough.
My daughter started here last month and was struggling to settle after leaving a good friendship network and everything she knew 300 miles away. Mr Roberts head of year 8, along with Sian Richards in admin/secretary and all other staff teaching her were so supportive. They kept in contact with me continuously throughout until she integrated and finally settled in. Even yesterday (Saturday) her tutor emailed me to make sure she was ok and pointed out her good work etc.
The teachers and staff are so caring and supportive, I would recommend anyone wanting to apply for a school placement to do so.
My daughter is now happy again and has made new friends.
Thankyou Pool Academy, you deserve 5* ratings.
