Horrible school

Terrible school, staff are biased and judgmental to students. Staff bully students and are negligent.

Pimlico: a living hell

I must say most of the teachers are pretty good and I am learning moderately well but I do not feel safe at this school. The senco has no empathy and is not suitable for said role and the school tolerates bullying far more than expected. Pimlico, do better and parents, I recommend you don't send your child here.

GCSEs

My overall honesty

I’ll be honest right, my secondary school did help me get good results and I did make very good memories from the teachers. The staff team was really helpful to me. despite this, The senior leadership team was very corrupt in their ideas and they were very strict and i just didn’t like it. Also, they tried and make me delete several videos on my TikTok page which I found to be very rude as it goes against the free speech human right (UN).

Pimlico and it’s many issues

I left the school in 2022 after finishing my GCSEs, I ended up with fairly good results as a result of the good staff team. The only reason I gave this school 4 starts was due to the way the SLT and the year leaders treated us during exams such as giving phones back after the booster sessions instead of after the exam which we was originally promised. This caused a lot of anger and it led to a lot of people not going interventions as a result.

There is also this issue with the mass departure of staff, especially teachers of core subjects and this had a knock on effect on the students as there was a huge increase in misbehaviour which would impact the rest of the class dynamic.

A big problem I had was how the SLT was very strict on the students, such as a 2 week confiscations of a phone despite it being accidentally being used. The senior teachers were so strict, except for the safeguarding team which I’ve known and they’re chill.

Another big issue I had being at the school was the big increases in fights happening (2020-2022 period) which meant that the teachers had to be more stricter on everyone, as a result of the younger years being Idiots and not having a grip, this was an ongoing issue which would disturb lessons especially towards exam time. This meant that lessons would start later and it would slow down as people would be distracted.

Despite me listing all the negatives, the positives of the school is that the safeguarding and the LCC and the SEND department quickly support the students who are struggling as a result of a disability. They help us out regardless of who we are whenever we’re in need emotionally and mentally. They really helped me get through exam period and I’m greatful they are there. I give Pimlico a 3* rating out of 5 because they helped shape who I am as a person and I met such valuable people to me.
