Bad School
As a Year 9 student I can confidently say; half of the lessons in this school are a waste of time learning about subjects that I will never need in life. The school food is alright. The school is not as safe as they say it is you need to be prepared to fight and there are way too many Year 7 students that are clocking up the school. Another thing to point out is the school only benefits the special kids and they leave all of us normal kids behind in the dust. (e.g: a lot of teachers will tell off a normal student for talking over them but not a special needs student). They also sometimes care more about your uniform than your education. Unfortunately this school is the best option in the area since I’ve heard that the other school near is a sh1thole. The only reason I want to come here is to see my mates.

when I was attending until 2018. i received zero support or help when it came to bullies and when I reported bullies they also did nothing despite showing literal proof of it.

DO NOT GO HERE
I dealt with extreme bullying all throughout my years at penglais. The teachers were informed but actually never seemed to care until i was attacked and my parents were angry. A lot of the male teachers make sexual jokes with kids and the head teacher is extremely strict and non believing of allegations against teachers.
Go somewhere else
This school doesn’t listen to a word of student feedback, stuck in old fashioned views and never changes. Some great teachers, but unfortunately those in charge don’t want to change

Damn place is full of uncheckef homophobia and sexism among higher years. Overall, some teachers give a damn and help
