Teachers are average because they could help a little but more but good attitude to students but most students are so terrible as they always gossip with others, indirectly bullys, swear in classes, disturb with noises, acts like infants and even has a poor attitude towards teachers ! You can enjoy the most terrible school year you have ever had in your entire life .
The teachers at Park Lane, for the most part, are nothing short of dedicated to their students. I built strong bonds with each of my teachers throughout the years and they did everything in their power to help me prepare for my GCSE’s. My issue is not with the teachers, my issue is how the school is being ran and with the people who run it. The new head of behaviour is absolutely shocking at his job and i’m shocked that he has stayed on as long as he has; the way he responds to genuine concern from the students is appalling, he takes nothing of substance on board is completely disregards every concern the student has brought up. He’s smug, arrogant and, quite frankly, useless - even when students have proof of the claims they make he refuses to listen to them, even when there’s multiple eyewitnesses, even when students have wrote pages upon pages of statements. He will not listen. He will not do his job. He will not benefit your struggling child in any way shape or form. As a former student, I am disgusted with the way that I have seen this member of staff act and hope that something will be done to review his job performance.
I don't recommend this school. Pupils are badly behaved and the teachers do nothing about it. Even if you get 1000 detentions in this school, the school still insists on not kicking out students and only makes the life of other students miserable. The teachers are nice but most of the time we get supply teachers which effect the overall learning. This is a good school if you want to go around acting like a thug, bullying other people and being treated like a dirt by other students. Also, make sure you don't ask a specific teacher to go to the library for wanting to read a book or else they will shout at your face.
