I am very unhappy with the receptionist at this school, today I rang around 1 o’clock regarding my son to send him home for 2 o’clock as I have an appointment, my son did not reach home until 2:30pm, luckily my daughter was home from university. This is the first time this has happened, I am sick of tired of this. Could head of school please contact Leo Sually father.
I go to this school and it is absolutely terrible the teachers are disrespectful and dont understand your needs and you get no support in the school what’s so ever I’m in year 11 and I get no support I’ve got adhd and I get nothing I would not send your kid to outwood if I was you
My experience with outwood academy has not been a good one.
I have never had peace since my child joined this school, I wonder what kind of learning environment is that.
No discipline among student and teachers also appear not to care.
I imagine what category of adults are being raised in a school where intimidation, violence, bullying and disrespect is the order of the day.
Kids come to school to instigate fights, cheer up the fight and record it on their phones. They still comfortably walk to school the next day knowing fully well that there's no disciplinary action against him.
Even when I complained repeatedly, all I get is that they are still doing investigations.
A decent child might not be able to learn a thing from this school. I would not want to continue because if I pour my heart on this page, it may not be accommodated. I didn't know I will get to a point where I get anxious everyday when my child goes to school because I'm not sure he is safe. Or a point where my child will not want to attend school because he feels unsafe.
As a recent student of this academy I canvas that outwood have destroyed everything that bishopsgartj academy stands for. First they don't understand they meaning mental health as they do absolutely nothing about it. Next in my opinion they do not care for much of the year 11 grades and levels as they give the previous year 11 alot of trainee teacher even after the year we had.
The teachers in this school need to know how to deal with incidents between other students aswell as they don't know what the meaning of other sides of events mean.
If you are planning in sending your child here I would rethink your idea as there is many other better academy's within this area.
Just a poor school overall. Before the outwood Trust took over it was a alright school teachers were fine. But since outwood took over it has declined in the way it performs aswell as the way they handle incidents and teachers.
For starts you have teachers that will always take sides over other students without even considering getting the full storey.
You then have the teachers that just straight right have no idea what a compliment is.
So if you think the teachers ate bad bad you should probably have a look at how the principal operates.
He does not underhand what a compliment is. He is only able to give negative views in nearly every single one of my lessons.
If there was a option to add names it would be easier to add the teachers names that are pretty decent.
