Our Lady and St Hubert's Catholic Primary School

I have a child attending this school and I have concerns with the way the school deals with racism and bullying. I urge any non-white parent to talk to your kids everyday about their experiences both in class and outdoors in the play ground. You will be surprised at what they are going to tell you. Kids are targeted by a group of white kids and teachers watch and do nothing about it. When they express concerns to teachers, they are not listened to, called a liar, shouted at and told to sit down. If it is a white kid expressing concerns they are heard out.
The school has a system whereby a teacher can remove a kid from class for a misdemeanor and send them to another class. The parent is not told about this even were a kid would have been removed more than once. This system needs to be reviewed, it is open to abuse because a teacher who feels distaste for a child can abuse the child and get away with it. I believe with my child it has reached that level because one teacher;s name keeps coming out when i talk to my child.
This school needs close monitoring.
Think twice is my advice to any ethnic minority who is considering to apply for a place at that school.
