Amazing school, students behaviour is exemplary and the staff are really supportive and knowledgeable.
Really supportive team who truly care about the students.
An unsafe school for vulnerable children. Constant turnover of staff, most of them sacked for little reason. A senior management team that is unsupportive that lies and attacks to cover up a real lack of care and consistency for pupils. The entire staff group has changed in the last year, most since December. A very worrying school.
Horrendous!
Staff are left to deal with children in crisis without support. Poor management and complete lack of care. The children aren't a priority, just seems like it is just in it for the money. Please avoid working there.
Horrible place. Students are absconding through bathroom windows and verbally abusive towards staff. Staff does not finish at the usual school hours but expected to work until 4.30pm. Avoid, it is either boring like hell or frustrating. Choose a school where students want to learn and not getting everything for free. These behavioural students' opinions count more than the teachers' opinion. I would give all their privileges to mainstream students who work really hard to succeed and not taking things for granted.
Worked at Odyssey and let me tell you this place is not all it’s cranked up to be. False promises, no job security, over worked hours and terrible transparency amongst the senior leadership team. Image is prioritised more than the well being of any child within those school walls. Advice for any new comers… RUN!!!
