If I could give it minus I would but I can’t, it’s ran by trainees who are incompetent. Its turnover of staff & children are startling and many year groups went from having 2 full groups to less then one full class & even then they still can’t manage the children. Due to moving school a few times and not having long left at the school I decided to stick it out. Worst decision EVER! The complaints go nowhere. I’m shocked this school hasn’t been looked into because something isn’t right within that school and anyone who says differently is lying or have never experienced what a good school is.
Avoid at all costs! The only good thing is they give out iPads but it’s unnecessary and is a distraction to the children. It looks nice but that’s all they have to offer!
After 6 years at this school, my child only has good things to say about it.
I have to say that we have not had a single day that I can remember that they have not wanted to go to school - a fantastic achievement to create such a wonderful culture around the school.
The care and attention showed towards them has been truly outstanding in all areas. The way staff have made the kids feel so loved and encouraged to be the best versions of themselves is also amazing.
The attention showed to them to unlock skills and passions and step out and be bold has meant they have flourished under the school’s care. I can’t thank you enough or say enough nice things.
I’ve joined this school and I am the oldest and I haven’t enjoyed this school since I’ve been always sad after school because of this school you guys don’t have to see this but I’ve always hated these two people I just had a bad day right now about this school I hate this school I would recommend another school am crying every day because of this school .
I hate this school and I wish I could go to another but I have this only one friend I can trust in year 6 and also one of them keep making jokes like calling me a pineapple because of the skin of my painting and one is rude and the other just gets on my nerves I one day want to hurt this person in year 6 they are bloody annoying
I wouldn’t recommend this school ever

Our child is absolutely thriving at this school and is always happy to go in. I’ve never had any grumblings even on the first day back after school holidays. The mandarin and outdoor learning lessons every week are incredible, and coding is starting now during the normal school day. The children are being prepared very well indeed for the demands they’ll meet as adults.
The teachers clearly care about each student and have recognised our child’s academic ability and routinely challenge with extension work.
Our child has friends across the year groups due to the excellent groups that the children can apply for (like Charity Champions, Green team etc) which opens them up to other children outside of their class. They also apply to these groups so get practice in leadership and CV writing.
Our child has great relationships with the teachers who take the time to listen and engage.
We have found the school body to be welcoming. Would recommend this school. Our child attended another local school before Oasis and Oasis stands head and shoulders above in our view.
Unfortunately this school is a massive disappointment! Parents bully other parents kids bully other kids from early stages and it continues ! The school has no effective plan or
procedure To deal with bullying ! A kid in the school who has some issues was physically harming other children and all parents were complaining yet the school failed to solve the problem! I have witnessed parents bullying other parents for false reasons and I’m so glad that we have left this school before it even get worse ! Now my boys are doing great and flourishing ! Best decision ever is to stay away from this toxic place and people !
It is interesting reading the two other reviews which seem to be from the same person. This is a small school and so we are all aware of the ex parent that sent these messages. While he is allowed his opinion we are allowed ours too. My children are extremely happy in this school and are socially and academically doing very well. They have made some lovely friends. I have found the staff very supportive and sort issues out when they have occurred, as I know they do in all schools. I have always found being polite has got me further in life. I would always suggest going to look around a school. It isn’t going to suit everyone but we love it. lol
Oasis Academy Putney is an abysmal school in general but the lack of safeguarding is the most unforgivable failure. New management arrives almost every year and each time they are more incompetent, dishonest and unprofessional than the last. The school leadership (at the school level, regional level and the Oasis safeguarding lead) refused to respond to concerns about the abuse of children at the school, failed to record specific incidents of abuse on school premises and at the school gate and failed to notify the authorities when they happened. Concerns raised about the behaviour of individual staff members were also not recorded or addressed properly. A complaint about a staff member calling children nasty names and bullying them was “forgotten about” for over a month!
In our experience, the school “community” consists of gangs of parents bullying and assaulting children at the school gate and in the classroom. Some parents have taken offence to me expressing honestly our experience with this school and have posted abusive messages directed at me. This gives you an indication of the sort of culture around the school that some families have to endure. The School Leadership team appear to have no interest in keeping children safe and will actively lie to parents and try to conceal which adults they have allowed or invited into the classroom. Parents known to be behaving aggressively towards children and who have assaulted children before were allowed into the school over and over and the school withheld this information from parents. The police and local authorities expressed shock that the school was unconcerned by this behaviour. Some of the adults concerned are still active in the school community.
Don’t believe the Ofsted reports - the management and a lot of staff have changed since the report was made. The majority of staff seem inexperienced and the quality of teaching is extremely poor with an over-reliance on Twinkl. The leadership is so lacking that the situation will not improve. Even some staff members expressed to me that it was an unpleasant place to work. The first “Executive Principal” even said she couldn’t wait to leave the school! Large numbers of pupils leave each year and the reputation of the school in the area is awful.
Oasis seems to be trying to flood Google with positive reviews, some of which are from individuals linked to the school or to Oasis. They also seem to be trying to censor poor reviews in order to increase their ratings. I’m sure some families have not been exposed to the same volunteer parents or the same deceitful, negligent and inexperienced staff our family was, but the dropping pupil numbers should tell you something. Seven pupils from our child’s class left at the end of the year mainly to go to other schools in the area. This pattern seems to be repeated to varying degrees throughout the school and reception is down to one class this year instead of two.
Although the location appears ideal, local residents have fought the school from the beginning and several families have experienced racist abuse outside the school from residents of Commondale. The school’s reaction to this was to ask the children to think about how the other people felt. Some of the residents of the flats next to the school (The Henry Chester building) drive down the shared private road at dangerous speeds putting children at risk. I have witnessed some very close calls with young children and unfortunately it may just be a matter of time before there is a serious incident.
In our experience Oasis Academy Putney is so far from what a modern, caring school should be, I cannot think of a single good thing about it. In my opinion, the school leadership team are not fit to be involved in education due to their lack of interest in addressing concerns of abuse and need replacing as soon as possible. Unfortunately Oasis as an organisation has such severe shortcomings when it comes to education any replacements will probably be just as bad. We withdrew our child rather than risk their physical and emotional safety at Oasis Putney and haven’t regretted it for a second. Some parents are clearly happy with the school and feel their children are safe, but I would urge all parents not to take any risks and to keep their children as far away from this school as possible. There are some very good schools in Putney and the surrounding areas but this is not one of them.
Opened 5 years ago, and went from goodish to absolutely dredful place. Bullying not only from kids, also by parents, volunteers and staff. Lack of experience staff and not well supported. They are on the 3rd round of management in 5 years, that tells you a lot. Families are leaving to another schools in the area or next borough schools. Lacking of understanding neurodiversity and SEN needs. The few staff members that did care about the children left. Running all on the cheap is hurting children's not only educational, also on safety grounds. When you dig a bit into this academy group you realise that although it says it's not religious, their background and core values come from the Bible, even allowing an Evangelical Church meet in their premises and publicising it on their newsletters on occasions, their founder is himself an evangelical pastor. The reputation of the school in the area is not good, considering the amount of families that are moving their kids away from this place so classes are not to a full capacity, and even this does not mean better education. There is also not Governors and complaining is literally a nightmare, no one wants to be responsible so they hide complaints about staff, bullying or others safeguarding issues under the carpet. Some staff members is obvious they are trying to climb the Academy/Business ladder rather than care about children. Their colaboration with the Local authority is on the basis that as long as they do not have to put money on it, get the basic for free which means the support for children is not in place. Be ware of the 5 star reviews, most of them are done by people linked to staff and people in the PTFA who think they can run the place.

Oasis Academy Putney is so far from what a modern, caring school should be, I cannot think of a single good thing about it. In my view, the school leadership is so completely lacking in morals, I would not trust them to look after a houseplant, let alone keep a child safe. We withdrew our son rather than risk his physical and emotional safety at Oasis Putney and haven’t regretted it for a second. I would urge all parents to keep your children as far away from this school as possible for their own safety.
