Very poor leadership from an unpleasant headteacher and prioritises outdoor fun over learning, leading to frankly feral children. While I totally support outdoor learning, I want a school who can balance that with challenging children academically so they can reach their full potential, whatever level that may be and this school does not provide that balance in my opinion.
I'm an 11 year old. I was at Oakridge school up until the end of year 4. I experienced bullying here and the teachers did hardly anything to help me. My mum came into the school many times but the bullying didn't stop. I had a meeting with the Class 2 teacher, the head of the school (at that time) and my mum. The teacher asked me how I dealt with the bullying and I said that I went to the bathroom and cried. She said that I could continue to do that!!!! If you are thinking of going there I would think again.
They have no play ground and cars could drive through at any point and you could have easily been kidnapped or ran away.
