This school was terrible when I was there and has only decreased in standards since leaving. My brother still attends the school and he wishes he would have left when he still had a chance that wouldn’t have impacted his learning. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL. The staff they have left that are there do not have a clue on how to teach and the amount of supply teachers you get are mind blowing because even the teachers know how bad the school is and decide to leave. I learnt nothing from this school and am so glad that I managed to escape out of there with gcse’s which a lot of the learning had to be put in by me at home and with private tutor's. No one had respect for the teachers or the school because of how poor it was and it has only seemingly gotten worse. The Teachers borderline get bullied by pupils and you may think to yourself reading this that it isn’t true but for some reason they decide to only exclude kids who play up and terrorise the classroom and other kids in it instead of actually doing something about it. You may think that excluding them would do the trick but too these kids who don’t care about the school or anyone else around them view it as a holiday and make the most of it and don’t see it as punishment therefore carry on with this behaviour and more than likely create more issues so they can get excluded again. Recently there was a suicide that involved a girl from this school may god rest her soul but how could the school not pick up on any concerns or if there was any why wasn’t there action taken. I know of multiple people that went to this school who suffered from mental health issues and the school never seemed to pick up on any of it even when it was extremely obvious when someone was in distress or making comments about harming themselves or even when they would go and find help they didn’t receive any adequate help or support. People who suffered from disability’s were also not adequately helped or catered to so that they could get the most from their education. Overall the school is shockingly poor in every department and way. In my opinion it would be best for not only the pupils but for everyone in the school for it shut down and then maybe once they have the right funding and resources available to reopen.

the school is so rubbish I honestly regret choosing this school,it made my life a misery when I was in year 9 I was getting bullied on a daily basis and guess what...the staff didn't do jack sh*t they would always say this pathetic excuse like "just ignore them" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? so much for a school that doesn't tolerate bullying the detention system is sh*t they would give corrections and red lines like they were candies, they always give the students who are in top set special treatment and the students who are in bottom sets make them feel worse of themselves I would not recommend this school to your kids,stay away from oakbank go to good schools like, The Emmbrook School,The Bulmershe School,Forest school or Highdown Secondary School and Sixth Form Centre they got amazing facilities and a wide range of subjects to offer for your GCSES Goodbye and have a blessed day

This school let my child down massively. They are unable to have consistent staffing and funnily enough the only school not to be shouting about their GCSE results this year. Parents need to seriously consider their options before sending their child here Under a new head now which is the 4th head in as many years including interims. A lack of duty of care and complaints have biased processes that are never proven. Support staff are not listened too and leave in their droves.

Terrible environment. Low EQ and IQ staff and all teachers were lack of education. Students literally just throwing stuff toward substitute teacher. Feel like in a playground during lessons. All staff just focused on students with special needs and ignored large amount of students. Which effect all students' learning process plus behaviour. Students pretend they were gang and treat others badly, staff and teachers still support those school gang cause afraid they will be annoying and they ignore students that got bully. After school students threw rubbish toward parents' car.

Don’t bother attending this school they are a disappointment to education! They run the school company orientated not student focused! Example of their punishment system, student forgets their tie first time ever and received 30 minute detention after school that same day. Forget their shoes and have to trade in their trainers for school shoes worn by other students, possibly they could have all sorts of hygiene issues. During Covid the staff that forgot their mask were able to get one from reception, however the students revived a 30 minute detention the first time the second time they sent the student home to get their mask from home plus a 30 minute detention.

I go to this school. It is soooo awful it has given me so much stress and panic attacks

Some teachers are good, some completely disregard anything you say. Most notably, I am gay, the schools knows and is very supportive, however the amount of foul lany such as 'if you take my stuff youre (example) gay' and 'imagine being r*tarded' these are things which are so commonly said with little to no punishment. It honestly saddens me to say that this school is not more then 2 stars. There are only a couple teachers who actually do things about discrimination. And those I give praise.
