As a black male I believe that the school really appreciates and values mine and others culture. Some teachers do prefer females students more then male but I can get over that as theres and overwhelming feeling of community I truly appreciate the many different way our school celebrated my culture tho culture day and the other clubs that celebrate community. Students who lie about very serious crimes are dealt with in the correct manner. I do with that those delusional girls where punished more but I can't be more happy with the schools fair justice system. Also they finally let me eat my jollaf bumbaclarttt rice man, dat tasted rassclatt good was a lil scared that the Asian section had some really woof ingredients it burnt my tongue. And the teachers were good looking as well in my opinion overall a great experience with 0 racism and 0 misogyny just way to many silly girls
this school is disgusting if you have sense you wouldn’t send ur child here
they always talk about expressing yourself but when you do, and it doesn’t challenges their ideas of white supremacy and catholism you get detentions or suspensions. when the white pupils started saying the n word no one batted an eye they just classed it as a mistake and kept it moving but, as soon as the black pupils became enraged, they banned the use of it as it was making other students “uncomfortable” (the teachers just felt threatened) the curriculum isn’t diverse and doesn’t teach you about other religions or cultures witch you would expect for atleast history but not. And i find that funny because their whole motto is for a community and embracing different cultures but once the history shows white people in a bad light it comes crashing down. they downplay cases of racism bullying and misogyny and they take nothing serious unless it’s coming from someone who is “a target of bullying”
If I could give this so called school less than 0 stars I would. Absolute dog excrement with a culture of racism, misogyny and the ridiculous policing of self expression (particularly for black students). My little sister still goes to this school and they recently banned phones which sounds like a communication problem waiting to happen. I hope a certain scottish pastoral manager (you know who you are) in particular never knows peace, she has inflicted untold amounts of suffering on students of ethnic minorities and female students. I can only thank the higher powers that may be that she is no longer at the school because what kind of pastoral manager calls a year 7 student the N word? That being said, I have absolutely no hope that the management will keep the new people in the role in check. Every good teacher at this school (and there were less of them than the amount of male teachers with a full head of hair) either left or retired and if you need more patience than other students, you just get left behind. Every time I think about my time at this school I have to surpress the urge to vomit. One time a female student reported sexual harassment to a teacher and was told "boys will be boys". None of you losers in charge of notre dame are seeing the pearly gates, even if I have to see to it myself. There's so much more that I could say but to finish this off, I have a bone to pick with a particular chemistry teacher whose name rhymes with church. I don't know why you think it's funny or even acceptable to treat students (particularly my sister) the way that you did. Repeatedly trying to humiliate students in front of their class and making them feel bad about themselves only goes to show how terrible of a teacher you are and you should act in accordance with the nature of your hairline and leave. You don't deserve the respect that comes with your job and I suspect that karma will inflict the self esteem issues you inflicted on students pressed down, shaken together and running over. I don't think it's a coincidence that the moment people who struggled in this school leave, they immediately start to flourish (admittedly with significant mental scars). Fk all of you, I would be very pleased if you all fought for your breath sucking on the worlds biggest phallic structure that is as thick as it is long. I still made something of myself despite you all but I don't think I will ever acheive a more prestigous accolade than surviving this hell hole.
IF YOU CAN BREATHE, DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!
I used to attend this school up until 2019... I am now 21.
I can't stay quiet anymore. Ever since a trigger brought back a lot of these memories, I have been very unwell. I am angry too at how much my life has been messed with. You guys damaged my self esteem so badly and traumatised me so much, I struggle to form relationships now and it actually ruined my ability to function. I genuinely feel heartbreak and pain everyday for what a certain group of teachers here did to me when I was extremely fragile and vulnerable. And then how they silenced me when I tried to speak up. I will never forgive you.
This school uses religion to manipulate and guilt trip its students until they are blank slates, choking on their own words. Their view of mental health is atrocious and I actively saw racism and discrimination take place.
If anyone reads this, I am the girl who used to sit in the corner of a geography class room. I cried a lot, but I tried my best. It was my favourite subject.
And you never even tried to encourage me to grow. I cannot believe I ever looked up to you.
terrible school, try to be a private school but in actual fact have no control over students apart from leaving them no ways of expression and damaging their youths. force everyone into following religion - many teachers get angry when students do not participate in prayers. lets racism get away without punishment and protects the students committing these racist acts.
