Read this before considering this school for your child.
PLEASE do NOT choose this school for your child. This school is overly strict and has multiple unnecessary rules that it feels we are in prison. First of all, no jewellery at ALL. Not even simple studs. Teachers will even question RELIGIOUS jewellery. I dont get the reason why, it doesnt distract anyone especially if teachers are wearing 10 pounds of necklaces, rings, earrings and nose piercings. The school lets 1500 students out in the same time for break n lunch, so dont be shocked when your little year 7 child gets trampled on. They only open 2 BATHROOMS with 4 stalls each, imagine the queues for the 1500 students. Theres plenty of large bathrooms available, but they simply refuse to open them. They blame the student for not using the toilets at break/lunch, not taking in the fact its the schools fault. Each year the uniform code gets stricter, for simple things such as wearing knee high socks. Girls (not boys btw) get in trouble for wearing ankle socks, even when wearing trousers, because male teachers get 'distracted'. IMAGINE feeling UNSAFE in an environment you are legally required to be in. Teachers leave every year, because of how trash this school is. 20 mins for break, 30 min for lunch. Can you imagine how packed the lunch queues are? Also the amount of sexual harrasment girls face in the queues. Classrooms become insanely hot, with windows barely opening and the fact they never turn their heaters off. Please do not enroll your child into this school if you dont want your child to be scared going to school and want them to pass with flying marks.
I cannot speak highly enough of Ninestiles Academy. The school has an excellent reputation for academic achievement, but it's also a place where students develop into well-rounded individuals. The teachers are inspiring and create a love for learning.

I absolutely love this school the teachers are amazing I love my best friend Amelia. We've both been there for two years now and the school itself is quite amazing. Just some of the students can be incredibly annoying and disrespectful!

I went there I was bullied half of year 7 by girls in my yesr to yr10 I was jumped multiple times and got suspended for nothing.I had been billed and they did nothing about it to the point my MH got bad nd they blamed me for the way I behaved.A girl had leaked my number and Addy and nothing was done to her I was suspended for it.I got into a fight the girl who started the fight never got suspended I did
Miss hazelwood should not work at this shcp the way she talks to sudemts and parents is unacceptable.over 15 students have been excluded just this year
Horrible school. Just keeps getting worse and worse. Slowly taking everything away from the canteen. The muffins, milk cartons, cookies and juice cartons. Soon they’ll be taking the water bottles. They use random teachers for random subjects they’re not specialised in. For example, I have a MATH teacher for an ART lesson every time. So if you want a school that has teachers knowing what they’re doing, then definitely do not come here. They make everyone line up, except yr 11s. Corridors and tiny, and if you’re short and weak, you’ll definitely get pushed onto the floor and be stepped on. DO NOT COME HERE
Teachers leaving in flocks due to behaviour issues
This school is living on previous good results from the last decade, and masking how in the last two years has progressively gone downhill in behaviour, credibility and staff retention. Poor leadership and lots of false expectations. Teachers are leaving in flocks as Senior Leadership is exploiting them and using emotional blackmail to keep them going.
I think Ofsted should be fair and give them a requires improvement status.
The stuion? A fresh, new Principal with better and more realistic approach.
not great AT ALL horrible experience dumb rules including NO JEWLERY not even studs students NOT allowed to wear ankle socks schools lock all the bathrooms and do not let students go, EVERY YEAR is on break at the same time leaving little time to get food with lunch already only being 30 mins long. aswell teachers being incredibly strict for no reason alswell as teachers not aprecating the students that work hard and paying more attention to kids who are messing around and not going to their classes. to add our school is very diverse and very one was looking forward to cultural day expecting it to be in may the year before however pricipal had to be asked and asked again not really agreeing straight away leading it too happen really late into the year and by then year 11 had missed it. also it’s as if the school doesn’t really care about year 10s as they are starting their gcse learning so they are in an crucial year as whilst preparing for y10 mock not much help was given as not many teachers told student what revision book to use or really explain what specific topic would be in exams.
Terrible experience. Students are not heard. Bullies get away with everything. Teachers don't support vulnerable students. Teachers embarrass their students. Teachers are supposed to be there to help, but instead they treat students worser then they treat people in prison. When there's an issue, the staff are informed, but they do nothing but put pressure on student in terms of harassment and bullying instead if resolving the issue. Disgusting internal school politics.
This school isn't good, it's full of bullying and sexual assaults, as of me being in year 10 I have had over 7 incidents and many more outside of school regarding the students, this school only cares about it's reputation.
Not about it's students recently a RB student SA me and got away with it because he's special needs, but he knew what he was doing and instead I was the one who got in trouble.
