A place of nurture
A gorgeous little school. I chose it because of the small class sizes and dedicated staff. The new head has worked wonders in a short time, high expectations have meant that the staff there now are all extremely focused on ensuring the best for the children. I like the emphasis on Christian Values, the nurture that is provided and the positivity of the staff.
Getting Worse
Things have gone downhill since the new head took over. Teaching is inconsistent and leadership are incompetent. Staff with no formal qualifications regularly cover classes and parents bicker amongst themselves on WhatsApp. If you're child is SEN then its a coin toss if they'll get the right support. Religion is important, if that's your thing. The only good thing is that it has small classes, but 2 or 3 year groups are taught together. More and more parents are taking their kids elsewhere. There is 1 or 2 good members of staff at the minute but staff change often.
