there is definitely a social hierarchy at the school but the majority of people are sound. Most of the teachers are good but many simply teach to the script, its lacking teachers who make you fall in love with the subject. It is strong not excellent at sport, its music section is trying to be more than it really is. One thing that would drastically improve it would be to make it co-educational; in order to prevent sometimes overpowering toxic masculinity.
It is a mixed bag, some people may love it there and other people may really struggle especially with the seemingly absent support system especially for bullying. If you are good at sports then it’s a great school and you will fit in just fine but if not I would not recommend it. In the case of the teachers there is a very large case of superiority complex as they are forced to force you to conform, they teach well but discipline is awful and in my experience the school is full of bullying that no one wants to deal with. The only reason they get good results is because of the students, I basically taught myself my GCSE’s.
