I’m currently on a trail to enter Meols Cop as a permanent student. I have only been in this school for around a week and it is dreadful. I went into a food tech lesson and got put into reflection over me asking to have a sheet with questions on it. not even 10 minutes after that, another boy got sent down to reflection for asking for a new pen as his didn’t work. At Meols Cop, i have already been wrongly accused of doing multiple things such as, bullying a girl over social media (i didnt even recognise the name when they told me who i’d apparently bullied), constantly skipping lessons when i have 100% attendance, being rude to teachers (all i’ve done was ask them for the basic things they’re meant to give me for my school day such as books) and lastly i have allegedly walked out of the premises during lesson without permission to do so. Meols Cop has cameras everywhere so I’m pretty sure they’d be able to see if I did and considering the fact that even my teacher told the deputy head that I was in the lesson the entire time without leaving once. If anyone’s child has ever been kicked out of a school or had any type of bad history in schools, do not send them to Meols Cop. Every single one of them gets treated differently and discriminated against.
honestly a shit place, they say they protect you when they barely check their cameras, some shit head of years and loads of faggs trying to make ur day harder.
I was a student in Meols Cop for five years and I hated it!! I only made six or nine friends because the other students were messed up in the heads and some teachers had poor teaching skills because they never helped me with spelling as Southport college made me improve my spelling when I was seventeen years old! I did not want to do work experience at age fourteen (access group) I wanted to do GCSE for history and art but they would not listen and the worst bit was because I'm moderate dyslexic they did not want me to do the art course in Southport college they put me on the special needs course and I ended up depressed a year after!! I was no student at that school I was helpless victim!! The school should (hopeful soon) be shut down.

got an hour detention for being 2 minutes late. REDICILOUS RULES!
the schools terrible i dont miss it at all, the mentors are rude af, my friend had a panick attack and they just stood their and did nothing.
some parts of the school were okay i guess.
once they told me i couldnt wear earrings but they let girls wear earrings which is disgusting, the teachers also used to tell me id never get anywhere in life
the schools a mess
Well basically maths made me want to die, however, that was just the subject & not the teachers. In year 7 and 8 they honestly didn’t care about you, but in year 10/11 they will literally put in so much effort and help you with anything you need, however there is a male physics teacher that loves to swear at the class, he told everyone to “stop p*ssing about.” He also basically attacked a student for no real reason. The school is still quite good though, if you get a good head of year then your time there will be great
Teachers don’t care about you at all. You could cry in front of them they would give you a detention for “not looking smart” the school has generally made me suicidal. I hate it there. They get the worst teachers. The only positive is that the school doesn’t care so you can do anything you want and that includes smoking in the bathroom.
Claimed to support their students during quarantine only heard from them once, not only that but not once did they fix any problems with bullying in their school I was bullied throughout my full 5 years of being there I was spat on, called names you name it, it probably happened and not once did the school deal with it or help me in anyway. No control over their students they try promoting good behaviour with sweets. Hardly any emotional support from the mentors. With unfulfilled promises since the first day off year 7 from nearly all students I would highly suggest not sending your children to meols cop high school.
