Both my children attended both settings in Acton, Melrose Nursery School and Mini Melrose, i can not express how happy i was knowing my children were being cared for and educated by people that actually care about children. I viewed 6 nurseries before putting my children in to Melrose nursery and out of the 6 that i viewed in the acton/ealing area only Melrose Nursery made me feel that comfortable enough to put my children in there. They also offer other extra activities and my children always come away happy and now im pregnant with my third baby i will put her into Mini Melrose and Melrose nursery also. i cannot rate this nursery and staff highly enough.
I had a viewing and the director there nearly confirmed that my child will get accepted as i was doing the registration a year before my child’s start date, then after the viewing she gave me an application to fill in and return to them, which i did, just to be informed by one of the staff members that i have to pay 50 pounds (which is not refundable) to be able to submit my application, so i did. Just to be informed a month later that my child won’t be accepted there without any clear clarification/reason. So i decided to email the nursery’s director to check why was my child’s application rejected, just to receive rude replies from her where i could tell that she was really annoyed. Such a waste of time and money, and an unprofessional rude director. Noting that i only live 3 min walking from the nursery.
