Marston Vale Middle School

Man this school was hell.

There were three main problems the school never sorted:

1. Rude and Racist students

The students here were vile. Racism was never sorted out, even if it was blatant. One time a student in my class was praised for having racist views. Wanna know what they were? "We should ban the hijab because it promotes suicide bombers." c. April 2022.
The kid went on to get a merit for it...

Substitute teachers were never respected, not even full time teachers either. Teachers left the school left, right and centre, and I had one who left because she was getting bullied by students. You know how crazy that is?

Fights happened all the time on the playground -- never ever would the people who started the fight be punished -- it was as if they were glorified by the teachers. The people who didn't start the fight got suspensions. The people who started the fight got a slap on the wrist and were told "dont do it again." The people who were watching ALL got after school detention. Like wtf??

The buses were a whole nother story.
Which I will tell.

Food fights, fist fights, fighting over girls, stealing, stealing the DRIVERS BELONGINGS, p**n, shanks, racism, profanity, bullying, vandalism. Did they get sorted out? NO.

Bullying. Ohhhh bullying. The bullied kids would get punished!

This whole section can be summarised in three words.

Never. Sorted. Out.

2. Rude, stupid teachers, unable to teach. And poorly planned lessons.

The teachers were probably the root of all problems in the first section.

Firstly, let's talk about the teacher problem.

Teachers were leaving left, right and centre. Nothing was done to help. All the good teachers left and we were left with old, vile, vicious creatures who punished the innocent. There were about 1 and a half teachers per department. Substitute teachers were being hired, who were equally as bad, if not worse.

One substitute teacher gave us all suspensions for some reason. Obviously this wasn't followed through with, but this is crazy. HOW can they hire such terrible substitutes. Like what is their interview process to hire these creatures? Obviously, there were some legends, like NEON MAN, and DOCTOR.
But those were one in a million teachers.

Also there were teachers who were called out as creeps, but the school never listened.

Another story I've got for you lovely reader. There was a kid in Year six. Once upon a time, he said he wanted to unalive himself. You know what the teachers said? "No you don't."

I mean, what kind of SEND protocol is this?

Also, in the 3 years I was at this school, I learnt basically nothing. My brainpower increased maybe by 0.0001%. The lessons were not well planned at all. The systems they used for lessons and taking attendance were about 30 years out of date. Some days, the lessons were non existent, so we just talked to eachother. It might have seemed fun back then. But looking back, that was not good in the long run. The days that there were lessons, they were the most boring peices of shite in the world.

Visitors were also treated terribly, and assemblies were so boring. They made us sit on the hard floor, even if you had an injury, unless there were external visitors. That is the most blatant coverup of mistreatment ever. This is the type of shi that goes on in primary schools. This was a MIDDLE SCHOOL.

3. Terrible facilities

The toilets had PISS and POO on the floor. They were never cleaned and were always left clogged.

The classrooms were painted maybe in the fifties, and the rooms were always old, stinky, and warm for some reason.

The field had not sort of proper maintenance. The grass was always wayyy too long.
There were holes dug in the field which you always tripped over, and twisted your ankles on.
There was no fertilisation of the grass, so it would always go dry.
There was no type of anti flooding system on the field, or even on the playground.

The playground was rock hard, and had places where you would always trip over. Once I tripped and almost broke my nose. (I fell face first). The AstroTurf was always closed off, and for some reason was made into a eating area.

The MUGA was always wet, muddy and slippery.

The dining hall was also the assembly room, so you would always be sitting on food in assemblies.

The sports hall was small and had little to no use, aside from gymnastics for whatever reason.

Oh, how could I forget. The food.

Wait. It's turning into a PRIMARY SCHOOL.

If you're thinking about sending your child here, don't. The teachers do not care for their students (most don't anyway from when I used to go.) They only care about your uniform and if you send your homework in on time. If you're neurodivergent, they don't offer any help at all, even if you cannot go to your lesson. They send you there anyway, despite having the "linc" which is meant to help students but when I was having a panic attack they just stared blankly and went "okay." Then left. All of the students bully each other and despite the teachers hearing this, they do not care. Same with cover teachers.

The girls are always picked on for their skirts, uniform, and their unclean bathroom but the boys always had piss or something like that in it. There was always a teacher, mainly males may I add, watching outside the girls bathroom that didn't have a door. I didn't have school meals, but appearntly they were bad. You could get lunch and after school detentions very easily without warning. They give out time out cards to people who do not need one. I couldn't even get a fidget pass when it would've helped me.

There's no activities that are interesting, no clubs that are interesting and equipment on the playgrounds were pretty much non existent. Equipment in general wasn't even a thing. They make you change options every term to see if you'll like it, even though you're 100% that you don't. They don't care about homophobia or transphobia until it's at someone who is straight and cisgender. They do not care for their LGBT students and several teachers are sexist, racist, etc.

Overall, DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE.

This school is absolutely shit.there is no door on the girls toilets and teachers just stand there watching all the girls but they don't watch the boys toilets.its so bad I can't even describe it! The teachers don't give a shit about ur feelings or emotions and the teachers that do make it a really big deal and take u out of lessons to have a 5 minute talk about ur feelings. They even make us clean up the other classes mess on the playground and we either use a litter picker or we r made to use small gloves to pick up mouldy food and other classes rubbish! DONT SEND UR KIDS HERE(and there's no point as it's shutting down in 2026)

terrible school, for your child’s well being DO NOT send your child here. it’s disgusting the toilets are unhygienic and electrical items haven’t been pac tested since 2017.. vandalism all over the walls, doors broken and unsafe to pupils, sanitary towels stuck on walls (used or new) sanitary towel bins emptied on floors with blood and wrappers over toilets and floors. mouldy water fountains..then refuse to give the children fresh water the teachers drink. teachers do not care about your well being they only care about your grades and if you look professional for ofsted. they act like they care but trust me they do not care at all. in my opinion there is only 2 teachers that genuinely care about the pupils in this school ( Mr A Stewart, Mr D Hutchinson), girls being harassed by male and female teachers about clothing (skirts,tops untucked,makeup,jewellery,hair etc) boys toilets never cleaned.. there was urine and shit left in urinals.. toilet paper thrown round. don’t even get me started on the food it’s not as bad as it was last year it’s become a bit better but don’t give you many options you have cold hot or jacket potato. they won’t feed you unless you pay which some people don’t have the money for. get detentions for anything ( my daughter got a w3 a while ago because of another pupil) this school is just all together absolutely disgusting. if you genuinely want your child to be happy and like school do not send them here please. they try to scare your child by threatening them with suspension over an incident that should’ve been given a lunch detention, if you are friends with a group of people that are known as the ‘bad kids’ your child WILL get blamed whether it was genuinely them or not.. they hire substitute teachers when a teacher isn’t available which they teach your child disgustingly they give them detentions and swear at them. a lot of people get victimised for having differences. they treat people with disabilities like their retards and are disgusting to them (they corner and restrain them when they don’t have a reason to) when a child is uncomfortable or having a meltdown they tell them to suck up and deal with it then send them back to lesson which causes them to throw a tantrum. they give out time out passes to people that don’t need but people that genuinely need them they won’t give them to. extra curricular activities are shit don’t give u many options and don’t let you freely take part in things you want to.. but when you don’t want to participate in something you get told you have to or it’s a isolation.

the students here ar fairly rude, you cant even have your own opinion on something without being attacked by them. the teachers here dont care if youre getting bullied or care about what youre feeling as long as you finish your hw. you can have literally no friends and they dont care. most teachers here dont even stay for a year, they got all new teachers in september to try make marston a better school but its still just has bad, dont ever send your child here

The kids here a fucking insane, all they do is harass people and call em slurs, and the teachers don’t give a single shit, most of the teachers are probably homophobic, and probably one being a neo-n, the office people lie abt calling your parents. They say they call but they haven’t called one time, the rooms with lockers are so tiny and claustrophobic, horrid. There’s garbage everywhere, and some of the kids are literally criminals.
