The school
Kids mental needs.
There is little to no help for children with mental educational needs . There also seems to be lack of staff also .
I have also seen and engaged with very rude teachers with this school already .
I know a parent then when they was told to leave when their daughter was having a panic attack staff told them it's OK they would look after. They didn't actually leave the dad went back and found his girl in bits alone . He said there are many issues and they feel that this school is failing their daughter. I have seen this myself around this family more than once I have seen that they do not have the staff to help and parents just go home with their child . But it's true what I see they don't actually care for the kids . Once I was standing there for 90 minutes waiting to see someone then I just gave up as it was urgent also .
I also witnessed a teacher calling a parent a liar to her face. You don't say this to a parent ever .
I also witnessed a teacher really shouting at another child again that child was in bits

Omg what a state the school has not enough staff . Especially when it comes to kids with anxiety issues .
My daughter has just this and just we took her in told to leave by staff .

stay FAR away from this school
I would not recommend this school to my worst enemy, let alone anyone else. The teachers are incompetent, and the administration is apathetic. The facilities are old and outdated, and the curriculum is a joke. The students are bored and unmotivated, and the environment is toxic and uninviting. Unless you hate your children, stay far away from this school.

However nothing got done or dealt with appropriately

This is school is beyond a joke!
If your child gets bullied here they will not do anything about it. And trust me, there is a lot of bullying going on. They do not care about your child's mental health!
They have no control over their pupils, this is because the teachers could not care less and their discipline is poor.

Terrible
The current Head seems to want to run the school into the ground. The teachers are stretched, the buildings are overcrowded, and there’s a very clear wealth divide that slices right through all of the year groups

Terrible, very racist and they say they’re a diverse school. Appalled by the way teachers don’t do anything. Teachers don’t teach well
DO NOT ATTEND
This school does not care for its student. The school prefer to focus on reputation than the mental health of these students. Thus bringing the reputation of the school down. My personal experience at that school has been terrible. They expect you to get 9s (A*) and 8s (A) but don't care weather or not their students actually get through the end of school. There are very few teachers that care about the mentality of their students. Their idea of counselling is telling the students they are safe but tell the parent everything. Even if it includes the parent as the abuser. They say its for the students safety but by telling the abuser about the child speaking out they are putting rhe child in more danger. If you do eventually get a "Councillor" they aren't specialised in the subjects and also only see you until they deem you're okay. Meaning if you have kne good day they stop seeing you until you are in desperate need for one. They do not deal with bullying in anyway. They do not deal with assault with as much severity as they should and that involves physical and sexual assault. This school is not good and will put both the parent and child through stress.
I hate this school.
They don't give a shit about their students unless they're perfectly abled, neurotypical, cishet and white. Teachers punished a student w/ ADHD for... expressing symptoms they had? Every single homophobic / transphobic remark goes unpunished, including ******* *****. I have a whole LIST of racist things certain teachers have done. Bullying basically goes unpunished for the most part. Students are allowed to make 'dark humour' jokes about slitting wrists. Sick of being in this school and having to put up with it all, don't come to this school and end up having to do the same.
THIS SCHOOL IS UTTER GARBAGE
please i’m a year nine at marshall’s and i’m so close to topping myself!! they let bullies get away with nothing but a slap on the wrist, not even that and they coddle the road men who yell in the corridors and push around when a bundle is happening. it’s so unfair how they just sweep away the children who actually need help. they never deal with situations properly and the way they treat me and my friends is despicable to the point where my friend comes out of every maths lesson CRYING because the teacher bullies her and makes fun of her. don’t go to this school, don’t donate, don’t support them. they’re awful.

Over my dead body would I send my children to this school! I was a student here a few years ago and they were the worst years of my life. The psychological harm it caused me is unforgivable. They have no idea how to deal with bullies and the staff are nasty and foul-mouthed. The way I was treated by the teachers was horrific. No respect or understanding. I’m surprised this school is still up and running! Ofsted need to review this secretly so that they can see the circus itself on a normal day, because as soon as the school knows Ofsted is coming, they switch up! Stick a few hidden cameras in that crack den and really see what goes on! I’m so over this school. It took me years to get over the mental health issues I developed from that school

Been ignored to have a meeting with the head time and time again around my daughters well being inside school .
And to see two members if staff bullying my daughter while she having a anxiety attack.
And to see how hostile one of teachers actually is.
Many hours being spent waiting for staff to help my daughter in the office and no one comes due to lack of staff.
Once I even found my daughter in the office crying shaking alone to be told she was not alone.
Who was with her the invisible man
She was very alone.
And we was told to leave as she would help my daughter but she left after we was told to leave. I worked in a school setting not ever did I see a teacher become abusive to a parent not ever but have here.
Lack of staff is a huge problem even other staff has said the same.
I have requested a meeting time and time again and only get the year head but have asked to see Mr frost not her year head .
As it has not got anywhere every single time .
Wish I saw these reviews before my child went here . I went here as a child so sad so angry as it has become.
