Good school, but it’s real selling point are the staff. I don’t know if it is still as good as when I attended (prior to 2015), but it is something certainly worth praise. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and was treated well by all staff and students, despite my bad behaviour at the time.
If anything, they need to support ‘average’ students as much as they support ‘gifted’ and ‘support’ students. I think if they did this they would be a much better school.
Some work needs to be done on handling bullying too, since when I went to the school I was actually praised for not reporting someone who would physically assault me daily - to the point of leaving bruises and me being terrified of break times.
Overall, this school is good especially considering the poor neighbourhood it is located in.
