Worst school
It is the worst school in hartlepool the bullying is so out of hand and the teachers do nothing about it. It makes people's mental health so bad.
Poor school
Anyone wanting to send their kids here, don’t. It’s been up and down the five years of coming to this school. Is not good for children with hidden disabilities and they go against a lot of their safe guarding regulations that they claim to follow. bullying from teachers , not allowed to go to the toilet when you need it , many human rights out the window , they do not care about mental health. The most they care about is good grades to make them look good. Overall very poor school and need to start focusing on mental health and the children in general a lot more. Do not send you’re children here.
A Mixture
Not gonna lie its a mixture because at my time of being at manor so far its been good and bad. The inclusion staff are brilliant and most of the slt but once I approached my learning manager about an issue and because it was during transition of classes I was told to just go to tutor but eventually the issue was solved. The slt is a mix of feelings because some are great and some arent. Before ** ******* left the slt was a mess and when you got a C3 the teachers would scream at the kids. They still do but it is alot more controlled compared to before.
Pretty hit or miss
There was about 3 teachers who were outstanding, always willing to go the extra mile (** ******). But the basic breach of human rights was awful, no expression, the school was simply lifeless. But there is NO way I would’ve passed my English GCSE without ** ****** so I am eternally grateful for that
Great School
A great school. Teachers are enthusiastic and want to help pupils. Learning managers and SLT are really helpful and friendly when greeting at the entrance on a morning. Has much improved since being taken over by Northern Education Trust. I would recommend.
No... just no
Awful, basic human rights were broken, doors locked so students had to wait to get through them, isolation was like a prison, NET is awful for any school in the north east, they dont let students express themself in any way, all they care about is grades and they do nothing for people who have been bullied, would NOT reccomend this school
Kinda mediocre
Very bad at dealing with bullying, they can’t seem to keep on top of students who need emotional and mental help essentially forgetting about them and their needs. Average teaching, some teachers are not exactly the best at helping students remember and learn, poor at controlling kids with anger issues/ kids with issues. Strict with kids and don’t loosen up to often,
