Classes taught by subs for months on end (GCSE years as well) curriculum content not covered. Staff that are clearly unhappy in their job bitching to each other in the corridors/reception areas infront of pupils and parents, staff appear to be leaving in droves. Rules for the sake of having rules with students missing out on their education for anything from having bows on their socks or missing a piece of stationary. Time taken out of breaks/dinner for the students to stand in line longer (due to an unruly few) meaning that some students DONT get to eat lunch at all. Locked toilets and not allowing students to go to the loo during lesson time (and yes students wetting themselves because of this) Unaddressed bullying, in particular in relation to disabilities and/or sexual orientation. Discriminatory behavior from the school regarding disability inclusion and safeguarding fails. Very low expectations for the students no enhanced courses (GCSE) run for the more able students even though they were promised. Sending my children here is one of my biggest regrets and have already made arrangements for my younger children to go elsewhere.
Awful school!!! They mentally drain children with high expectations. We’re expected to do a whole a4 paper for homework every single day and have certain equipment or it’s a detention. The rules are far far too high to the point people are happy to be excluded
I’m a Year 8 at this school and it is very draining. Morning meetings every morning and we have to have a certain amount of equipment you get a detention. You aren’t allowed to go to the toilet during lesson and some of the teachers are very weird. Don’t come here. Thanks.
Worst school ever since it changes to dixons brooklands academy it became 10 times stricter and they expect year 7s to be more mature than year 11s are you serious-?!
