The secondary school has a bias against anyone who does not fit the normal student standard. If you need more help, you're often not given it. Numerous times, when i put my hand up in class, I've been told to put it down. The********** of the secondary school, **********, is not the best staff member we need. Everything is done on her time. For example, the gate is to be shut at 9AM sharp. Which she does, unless she's having a chat with another staff member. The rules are thrown out the window then. Another problem is that if you are diverse in anyway to the Cishet student, you are less than them. There was a reccomendation to have the Head Boy and Head Girl positions to be Head Pupils, which went through, except it was changed back to as it was prior to the suggestion. For no reason which can make GNC students that struggle with gender uncomfortable. Transgender students are often misgendered and deadnamed. LGBT students that have the slightest colour that isn't Blue, yellow, black or white on them are dresscoded, even if its just a pin. The staff do not handle situations of disagreement between students well either. It's usually just "stay away from them", they act like you can in such a small school. I have heard a teacher whisper about the state of me because i tripped as well. If you're going to talk about me, at least have enough tact to say it where I cannot hear you. They also preach about mental health, yet there is barely a mental health professional available besides****. Anyways the school is horrible.
