Secondary education

Lydiard Park academy Swindon

Very bad place for children
My child had very hard life in that school we shouldn't ever leave previous one.As my child had ADHD and on top of that she would be so stress that she would throw up everyday in school ,she got depression she wasn't able to get out of the bad and we all got I'll in the house of stress that heads of year would give us not her not other kids it was them. The school doesn't worry about learning ,getting them ready for life ,protect when they need .No only was important gossipping make children to hate each others , uniform and lies constantly lies .We been distributed all the time at work but when we needed help nobody wouldn't help us .Even now

LPA bulling and mental health problems

I regret wanting to join lydiard park academy. Rubbish school and teachers do nothing about mental health and bullying, I was bullied and the teachers said oh it’s just girls being girls . No it wasn’t if I was a parent and was choosing a school I would not pick LPA

alright school (PLEASE READ)

i am a current student at this school. honestly this school puts on a big show about mental health but they don’t really care at all. someone i know was having a panic attack and they put her in a room all by herself when she couldn’t breath luckily it was okay because she talked to them about it and they said they won’t do it again. the receptionist at this school is lovely she is always there for every student and teacher and she is so easy to talk to. this school is alright but if you are considering coming to this school try talking to other students about what they honestly think about it. they have such amazing art and design and photography lessons and if you enjoy pe then this is a great school.

LPA review

Use school. Sports teams are thriving especially football and rugby. They have girls football and girls rugby and girls netball team which are doing very good

Literally hell

Some teachers are OK, most aren't. Since I can't say names, year 11 head of year is a bully. They pick favourites and bully the others. Have no standards. The actual head teacher is nice enough but is obviously to the way the teachers treat the students. They don't care about homophobia, racism and the rest. The amount of suicide attempts this year and they haven't considered maybe they shouldn't be so harsh.

Don't recommend this school

They do not deal with bullying well at all. Not a good school for someone who struggles with their mental health because they really don't care.
