Avoid this school

The school is a disgrace
So many issues so many problems with eh way the students are treated by the staff and then every issue is kwickly swept under the carpet and tucked away like it don't exist there all about the school getting great reviews amd awards they don't care about the wellbeing of children screaming in there faces being left in pain because there not believed staff making nasty comments to students regarding other students students being grabbed and dragged refused of basic human rights its not a school it's a boot camp !!!

shocking this happens

I’ve heard people complain about fights and all bad things. Students shouldn’t vape in lower campus.

The school doesn’t care about bullying, or the simple well being of their students, but what they do care about is checking your daughters and the rest of the girls behinds to see how tight their trousers are, they’ll put you in inclusion for a few days over something as simple as a nose stud yet they’re a school? Schools for learning, schools for shaping kids behaviours not sexualising young underage girls and abusing their power. Don’t send your children here it’ll be the worst possible thing you can do for your child, the most corrupt school in the area for sure.

Bussiness studies

Stop louth academy!

It was awful, children were air lifted out of the school grounds with damaged faces birds thrown into the bin half dead half alive what kind of an example is that setting to the students.
Larger male teachers used to get into young girls faces when they did wrong and repeat just how wrong they are.
And sure they're students have good grades because they're made to, if your behind on learning then you WILL catch up because they xant have they're standards dropping.

A terrible school

Before Louth academy, the two sites were Cordeaux and Monks Dyke. I was originally from Cordeaux, which was taken over by The Tolbar MAT at the end of year 8 for me. Before the school was a welcoming place where the staff were kind and people you felt you could talk to, all be it the site wasn't in the greatest state. Tolbar had at this point started refurbishing Monks Dyke (now the upper site) leaving Cordeaux in the same state but changing all the staff, replacing the staff we grew to know and trust, with people who you felt generally hated children (i had a teacher who actually admitted this infront of the class). Some of the teachers they had kept though from cordeaux but they had been told to act stricter and they weren't the same people afterwards. In year 10 I was moved over to the upper campus which had now been under renovation for over a year. The site was a lot better than what it previously was and in a far better state than cordeaux, but on the down side, it had made it look and feel like a prison with all the fences and gates etc. I had yet again had to get used to new teachers who seemed like robots. I could count on one hand the amount of teachers, out if all of them, I actually liked and got along with. There were stupid rules and regulations put in place about behaviour and especially clothing. You would be put into isolation if your ankles were visible or your trousers were too short, why are grown adults looking at our feet in the first place. At the end of year 11, with all the covid malarkey, we were promised at some point a leavers do, and after 3 months and starting college, we have had nothing. Adding on top of this, any information or data the school had to send over to my college, they haven't been bothered to send. I would honestly rate the school one star if it wasn't for the fact that there were a couple of teachers that I enjoyed having and I felt had helped me tremendously, and that the sites were improved. Over all my experience at that school was bad, and I near enough hated going there, but school is school and I had to go.
