This school is absolutely horrible thank god I don’t go here anymore!
Like seriously I got detentions for being only 1-2 minutes late, I was actually so so mad, I physically couldn’t get out of bed or anything and was always sick, then always got forced in by other teachers (I think one time I was out of lesson coz I needed to talk with a teacher on what was happening to me and all that because I was badly struggling) and instead it was all about my attendance, like what? Nobody gives a damn this school would’ve been the death of me (like actually), it got so bad I had to be honest with my parents on how I was struggling so they could actually do something about it instead of forcing me in (and they did so thank goodness), I had to get help because it was just bad as hell, I still have the worst dreams about this school and I used to have them every night. The students there are so bloody horrible too?? Like people in my year to be exact they were so rude to me and one time somebody that I knew told every I had autism (I do have autism) and everyone just sorta switched up on me, I also used to bring this plush for comfort and most people made fun of it (except some people and teachers who had respect) and like I couldn’t take it anymore so🤷♀️ this is overall a terrible school with a system and management that needs to be fixed.

awful school don't send ur kid here unless u hate ur life
awful school, treat the students horribly male teachers walk into the girls toliets, don't care about mental, no doors on toliets also exculded students over stupid reasons, and are discriminate against child with learning disabilities and behavioural needs, don't send your child here unless u hate them, built like a prison, last full ofsted review was in 2014. mr smy is the worst out off all of them discriminating against girls and children with learning disabilities. please sue this school.

This school is crap
This school is absolute bullcrap, the school doesn't allow any uniqueness in appearances, not even allowing jewellery or dyed hair, as well as adding a mandatory 6th period even though a lot of students just don't have the time, or a worn out by the end of the day, so they learn literally nothing from these lessons. the only saving grace is some of the teachers are way better than the school and are actually nice people, and try their best to make the bland bullshit lessons they have to give.

Omg I’ve just gone into y 11 after in and outs of lockdowns and they’ve decided to give us a sixth period 3 days a week taking away some of our free time it’s not like we chose to go into lockdown like my attention span is running short in the day as it is let alone make me have another hour of school and they go ahead to say it’s a privilege it absurd honestly I don’t have enough time in the day as it is I think the extra lessons should be option someone told as that if we can’t make it for a reason you need to move that reason but some things you can’t like you physically can’t

The other students are all very rude and judgemental the teachers say they are against bullying but do nothing to stop it, we can't express ourselves at all without getting a detention, we can't use our phones I once had my mum pick me up because I almost picked and was very ill and I don't like talking to people I'm not comfortable with which is all the teachers other than like 2 of them who are nice
mixed opinions
the teachers preach against homophobia etc but laugh at the kids homophobic jokes and do nothing to stop them. the school is quite ableist in the fact you get told off for fidgeting or drawing in class, if you zone out the teacher will pressure you into answering the question you clearly dont know. they also force you to read aloud to the class and don’t always let you go to the toilet etc. they are ‘all for self expression’ yet don’t let you do simple things like wear jewellery or have coloured hair, which doesn’t hurt anyone or distract your learning. usually you aren’t allowed to take your blazer off without asking or wear your coat inside which is ridiculous as we often get too hot or cold. you aren’t allowed to use your phone for anything, i texted my mum asking her to pick me up once as i had a panic attack in the bathroom and didn’t want to come out because there was people waiting in the bathroom for me to come out, kicking the door and yelling at me. you’re also given detention for forgetting things like PE socks which is stupid.i have had good teachers and a good head of year though who have been very supportive to me and my learning and understand my situation so don’t put too much pressure on me.

Struggle to deal with bullying, which there is a lot of. Teachers are nice and helpful, but many can't control the students.

Many students there are so horrible, I was bullied and teased, and no I don’t go to this stupid school anymore, but whenever at least some idiotic student from here sees me, what do they do? Bully me. I once told the school I was getting bullied they did NOTHING, not even talk to the people I told them about.
I’m not gonna leave out the detentions from this either, like what do you mean you just gave me a detention for being 1-2 minutes late? They did this every day of my darn life, and of course I didn’t go as much due to how I was struggling with mental health, it got so bad to the point I just wanted to end it all, that’s how bad this school really is.
Luckily there is some nice teachers there, and some students that are actually kind, but about that most of them aren’t nice at all and will bully you for the smallest reasons! Now that’s all on this review, this school is absolute s**t.
