London Enterprise Academy

This school is by far the one of the worst schools in east London. They care more about bribing kids with tablets and laptops than the well-being of the students, bullying is so normalised here I’ve witnessed teachers laugh at kids being bullied. Homophobic language is tolerated and used by children and teachers. I attended this school for 5 years and have seen staff egg on arguments, especially the younger staff they tend to take sides during arguments that the kids have instead of trying to help resolve it. Teachers would rather be friends with students above anything else. Staff member that are supposed to be the senior members of staff aren’t good at their jobs they are stuck in the ways of when the went to school. This school is majority dominated by south Asian students and as an ethnic minority in this school I feel as thought Asian, Bengali specifically, culture was more celebrated and seen as an important event, we literally had a whole day of events for Bengali Independence Day but any other special day for a different culture wasn’t celebrated. We also had a very limited curriculum so if you want to do things like dt and art this is not the school for as the senior staff don’t give this the department enough resources to do anything but they can afford 100’s of computers and iPads and laptops. They don’t even have common facilities such as a playground which I think is a basic necessity for a child. There is so much more things that are wrong about this school but I have to end here. All in all if you care for your child’s education don’t send them to this school. If I could rate them less than 1 star I would but sadly I cannot.
