My daughter went to this school for 6 years and have gotten bullied. The first one was deal with but when she got bullied again but they did nothing to the student who was bullying her. I am a very busy person and I couldn’t do pack lunches so she was left with school dinners. After 2 weeks of having them she felt sick and I had to take her off for 2 days. She was called by the head teacher multiple time with her friends for “bullying” another student when they got into a friend and friend argument and why would she bully someone if she had to go through that experience twice. This school was horrible to my daughter over the last 1-2years. After the last head teacher left I have to say it did go down hill. When the storm hit the school afro-turf when up and they didn’t fix it straight away. After the Easter holidays still wasn’t done. Now at the summer holidays it’s is being done with the lunch hall is well. Some teachers had favourite students and some didn’t like my daughter and her friends. All of her teachers her really nice to me but not that nice to my daughter.
Horrible school. My two Daughters went there for 5 years and regretted every minute of it. Theyre way of dealing with bullying racism and homophobia is disgusting. One of my kids was accused of bullying somebody because of their hair colour, along with their friend. The girl who was so and so being bullied said she never felt like she was being bullied by her. They gave my daughter a black mark and a talk with the head teacher along with her friend, they were both threatened with being expelled. When younger years bully an older year, nothing at all happens. When one of my daughters were in year six, year 5's were harrasing her and her friends. Teachers did nothing at all about this and it went on for months. Teachers ways of treating students are sickening when you get to older years, all they do is tell you to improve and grow up. Why not have fun whilst you can I say. There is a few particular teachers who tell student off for nothing. The new head teacher favours year 5's and has no respect for year 6's. Mrs Williams and Miss Bryant are two key teachers who runined their time there. After the children finished their SATS, the teachers said they had to keep up the work till the minute they left which was a bit harsh because they were pressured to do well in their SATS and they didn't even give them a small break which is horrible.
100% do not recommend taking your kids on the year 6 residential. They cant bring food, and are basically starved there. Food was disgusting, with students puking in the toilets. The year 6 movie was an absolute fail. Didnt work on the big screen and had to wait in silence for an hour whilst they tried to fix it. Eventually they had to be cramped in a boiling hot classroom where there was a tiny screen but then the students refused to sit in the classroom and there were running up and down the corridors. The other thing was the pizza and garlic bread. For starter they didn't even have garlic bread so instead had raw chips. The cheese on the baguette pizza made people have diarrhoea and dodgy tummys. My children have also found vapes in the toilet, even though its a primary school. Most of the time, teachers swear at pupils and always blame it on accidents. Forest schools and the teacher is awful they force your kids to litter pick and treat them horribly.
They dont care about your mental health.
