I have been at the school since 2014 and am currently in year13. I’ve always had a very pleasant experience, staff go above and beyond to help you, the facilities are good and they dealt with COVID-19 efficiently and well. People are quick to judge it but Honeslty it’s great and I’ve made some friends for life and had numerous brillaint opportunities there!
In my opinion it was ok though when it was freezing cold they made us stand outside there tech was crap and how they handled bullying wasn't great but overall ok
That school is so shit it’s unreal ! They have a rats problem which is vile , when it’s -4/5 outside they expect to stay out there do they want us to get hyperthermia!!! Over all just don’t go
Teachers don't care for the most part, pupils care even less. There is a rat problem, the food is awful, and the headmaster spends money on unnecessary things constantly. Openly try and convince us to work in factories and 'be realistic'.
I’ve been a student at this school for 3 years going into my 4/5th year , some of the teachers are alright but most of them are rude , don’t listen to problems and judge students , the way this school deals with problems is horrific, they cared more about my hair being tinted red then My actual problems I was facing , during quarantine I had a really hard time and I tried to talk to the teachers but they just said take your time then 5 minutes later have me 20 tasks to do , the bullying in this school is horrible as well with 90% of the bullying going unsolved to the point where people move schools because of how bad the bullying is , the canteen is over priced and as a person who doesn’t come from the richest family most of the time I can’t even afford lunch because nearly every month they raise the prices and it’s the same for a lot of people, is it fair to have students pay up to £1.50 for a sliver of chicken in stale dry bread , the rules are also stupid , you can’t take your blazer off without permission and if you do you get a lunch time detention for uniform, try being in 30° weather with a blazer on it’s horrible and leads to things like heat stroke which makes it very hard to pay attention in class when you are dehydrated, have a headache from the heat and still have to keep your blazer on
