Parents, if you're reading this respectfully I DO NOT recommend this school. My children and their friends tell me how disgraceful it is. The teachers are not only unprofessional but do not care about your child's mental health and well being. They give out so many detentions that teachers fail to follow themselves making it hypocritical. Many teachers aren't even qualified for certain classes/subjects which makes students have to learn content as well as revise content at the same time. I emphasise how unprofessional teachers act in that school as well, needs to be called out without the amount of injustice that has happened there. Would never recommend this school to ANY of my friends or my worst enemy. Absolute shambles.
My son has been bullied for the past 3 months, Kings leadership have advised for us to do a in year transfer as its easier for my son to move than to deal with the bullies. Therefore we have been let down by this school system
This is a disgusting and vile school. I worked there as a supply teacher/cover supervisor and there was no support from the permanent staff at all. I was told that I would be going permanent only to be told two weeks later that I am no longer needed. Completely unprofessional and horrible. The students are some of the worst students I have worked with. They swear, throw things and run around the class room like barbaric animals. I would not recommend that anybody wastes their time working here. Its a joke. Oh and I forgot to mention the continuous lining up outside and escorting the children around the school like they are puppies.
Never seen anything like it.
This school is absolutely disgusting and horrible. The teachers are horrible the students have no respect and the food is literally poison. The safety of the children is poor and the school reputation is bad. Wouldn't recommend
The school could 100% be a better place, but the main part is the canteen and the food, you have to wait like half an hour just to get like a water, sandwich, pizza etc.
Also the year 11s should be allowed to just go straight in because we have our GCSES and some exams start after dinner so we need time to eat etc.
We removed our daughter from the school when we completed GCSE options night with her, she completed her choices, and then to find by email a month later that the school can't honour the options, they needed to be re-done due to staffing organisation changes but this was fine as it "allows your child to think through again what their options are". Wtf.
Moving our child was also problematic. It took call after call, emails, and finally a complaint to the headteacher to get our daughters school records so that she could move to her new school.
This school is unprofessionally run.
Also lets not get onto the mice, rats in the school canteen and kitchen area. Yes it is inner city but this is just disgusting.
This school is the pinnacle of bad people the children are not taught well and they have to line up outside for around 30 minutes straight from what i am hearing and that they have to raise their hands for an exceptionally long time and that the manner of the teachers are so unfriendly that i think that this school would be the worst pick for you children honestly it seems like the children are holding on to their mental health by a dental floss string do not reccomend this horrible school
Y'all just seeing this to check if it's good or bad but let me get it straight. Kick most of them weirdos out of this school they ruin my mood and the fact you let kids who got kicked out back in u have no idea mfs
absolutely vile school, completely unprofessional, literally had mice in the canteen, and by the looks of the food, the mice bloody made it. the teachers are so rude for no reason and the headteacher is telling us to line up in perfect lines with our hands up in -20 degree weather 3 times a day. maybe he should focus on the fact that his students are hanging on to their mental health by a thread and the staff he employs are kiddie fiddlers.
