King Edward VI High School

Not for the faint of heart, the bathrooms are dirty and have dirt undetermined liquids and other things I can't explain. This is full of what the children call "chavs" and "roadmen". The teachers are helpfull and supporting although they seem to be very reluctant. The nickname KEVI isn't very good either. You do get lots of learning done in " DT" (Design technology) including IT woodwork and cooking but the "safety precautions" are about you stance and not about the equipment used. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Not a lot of good from this place. The main set of teachers, whilst do their job perfectly fine aren't very pleasant towards the students. If your looking at this place for education alone, then it's alright, but the actual environment is incredibly toxic, with both students and staff. Students who achieve more are put on a pedistal and get the most attention, whilst students who are less gifted will be treated with ignorance by faculty members. There isn't a lot to do in terms of activities, the lessons are quite mundane but do get the job done. The meals are surprisingly good, offering a fair and good mix of meals everyday, but staying in the long dinner queue, where oftern there is cuts and jumps, simply isn't worth it

Would not recommend this school to anyone. They have no control over any of the students and the ceilings are moldy there’s chewing gum everywhere. Had a entry onto the school ground without authorisation.

They can't cope with students with autism they put nothing in place at all. They are rude and disrespectful to some students they sent students home because of covid because they have had a continuous cough even tho it was previously existing even before covid 19 the school need to get a grip of themselves before it closes down
