Teachers don’t understand neurodiversity enough, teachers handed out detentions for random stuff, the bathrooms also got locked in between lessons from my knowledge. I wouldn’t choose this school, but it’s your choice I guess?
Vile school allows bullying, won’t do anything about it they allow children to be worried about going to school there’s very few teachers willing to help never see or hear off the headmaster unless he’s wanting to suspend someone for sticking up for their selves and then the message is passed on! They blatantly laugh in the children’s faces when they ask for help ( more than one occasion) would never recommend this school for any child at all the school needs some serious looking in to either that or shutting down
The school is shit the only good thing is the 3G Astro the food is shit the staff are ok give detentions for no reason and my overall review and I am a student and it’s shit the old building stinks like piss
It's a lovely building on both sites. Great education. In the recent years the schools gotten so good although there too strict , other then that I recommend so much.
Don't attend this school. Detentions given for just dropping a pen or asking someone next to you for help because the teachers would ignore you.
Used to go here and my life was dreadfull.
I heard there was now no coats allowed inside with no radiators on. School is cold and bad no wonder why students turned up late all the time or went home early because they were "sick". Its just an excuse to get out of the prison they call a school because they are mentally and physically drained
King charles,where do i start?
Appalling school. The environment feels like you’re in a 1800’s prison and there is no escape fellow students feel as is they’re drowing in a pit of there own sorrow attending this hell hole everyday.
I remember the school once had a teacher call a disabled student “roadkill” and no further actions took place against said teacher. On numerous occasions theyre have been actions of bullying and the school has little to no regard for it.Sanctioning students is one of King charles favourite things to do handing out detentions for things such as dropping a pencil, fiddling and sighing a little too loud.
King charles secondary school is one of the worst places to attend and send your child.
The students are obnoxious, buildings are depressing and cold, teachers are strict and give detentions out for the littlest of things. No non uniform in the sixth form. Do not accommodate or take care of external students, I was just placed in and expected to get along with students who would reject you because you came from another school. Sixth form toilets are also broken. Avoid this school, not COVID secure at all, no one wears masks, bubbles mix at the end of the day etc.
On top of this they also told me to my face that I will have a very miserable life and a life with a super low paying job because I don’t want to attend university right now.
If you’re late twice a week you get an hour after school detention, even if you’re 1 minute late. I got a detention because the clock in the car is 1 minute slower.
I absolutely dread coming in, I’m very unmotivated and it takes a heavy toll on me.
Lessons are also exhausting physically and mentally, a triple lesson in the mornings and a double in the afternoon, why they can’t have normal 1 hour lessons I shall never know. The triple lesson leaves me fried during the afternoon lesson as lunch and breaks are quite short in comparison to lesson time. Lessons are also pretty dull.
In frees you are expected to do work even if you have absolutely finished everything.
To be fair, the school is good if you want to improve your grades that’s about it, it’s stressful though.
