Kettlesing is an amazing unique little primary school, based in a beautiful countryside setting, that is often embraced by the school for enhanced learning experiences for the children. The SEND support is outstanding, and adaptations are made for each child’s individual needs, in a discreet manner to make every child feel included throughout their learning every day. Would highly recommend this school if you’re looking for a family orientated school who nurture and educate all the children in their care. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here and they all go above and beyond to provide help and support to both children and parents.
Staff and parents friendly and the whole schools has a close family feel to it. Everyone knows everyone’s name and the children all play happily together.
Lots of great events put on by the PTA
Teachers are approachable and caring and clearly love their job.
Green space to play in summer village hall for the big events and the school its self has a nice outdoor playground.
Rated as Good. And there is breakfast and after school club.
We have recently moved to Kettlesing school and have been overwhelmed by how wonderful and welcoming it has been - the parents, staff & children have all been so lovely. The teachers are great, so caring & they really make learning fun - the children look forward to going each day & come out talking excitedly of all they've done. In a very short time their confidence has been boosted, they have made many friends across all the year groups & they are engaged with the topics they're covering. It is more than you could ask for from an educational setting & I would highly recommend it.
Kettlesing Felliscliffe primary school is such a lovely village school. The sense of community is what makes it so special; being a small school there is no hierarchy- all years mix and play together creating a really caring & nurturing school. The facilities are great - a lovely school field where well-being & forest school activities take place. Three kids, across three years & three classes - I can vouch for every teacher being fantastic. Highly recommend this school!
Excellent village school part of a federation of three. Has a good ofstrad rating and teachers that really care.
My child has SEN and recently diagnosed with autism. The SENCO took us through the process and managed to secure an EHCP. We feel very lucky to be part of the school and the community (even though we don’t live In the village).
A lovely friendly school with dedicated staff.
My son is in year 4 and has SEN needs, the support he has been given since he started in reception has been exceptional.
Amazing community school. Fabulous teachers who really care about the children. Great small class numbers meaning the children get to work closely with teachers and TAs to their own level. I’ve put three children through this school one of which just left and is thriving at his high school. Two still there and very happy indeed. Highly recommend!
