Compared to other schools in the area, this is great. I’ve attended another school in Aylesbury which was horrible, but her I can actually study stuff to get a higher predicted grade
The education you will receive here is pretty standard by all parts and the teachers range anywhere for brilliant to almost useless. The facilities are again- pretty standard- and for the most part work well. Whilst the school claims to be inclusive and welcoming of diversity, many teachers will often ignore homophobic, racist and transphobic comments made by students to/about other students. Also, prepare for changing in teachers and teachers that can be practically useless, with some- in my opinion- better suited to teach younger years than older students in some subjects.
Overall, the school isn’t good or bad by itself, it’s pretty standard and I enjoyed my time there for the most part. However, the people make the school interesting and fun, not the actual school itself.
If I could I would rate it zero, AWFUL I was bullied horrendously and the SSO’s(student support officers) told me it was my fault and I needed to try to fit in more, they also blamed the fact that my parents were divorced on my mental health issues and autism, I was a victim of xenophobia and told that I should go back to my own country ( I’m third gen) and was constantly harassed, I had a pocket knife pushed in my face, I was thrown down stairs I had chairs chucked at me my other students and still the teachers said it was my fault as I wasn’t trying hard enough to not get bullied (TF??) overall terrible terrible school disgusting teachers who all talk about each other behind each other’s back to the students, teachers also actively tell students they hate their job, I can’t express how terrible this school and it’s staff actually are, I blame my depression and suicidal thoughts and tendencies on this place as well as my panic attacks wich I still get as I have frequent flashbacks to my time here overall I genuinely think if I haven’t left this school my last year of schooling I wouldn’t be here today to write this and it would be entirely this schools fault
