they say they care about our mental health but don't help us. There have been incidents of certain terrible things being bought into the school and the majority of people are horrible. Do the teachers care? Do they do anything? They only care about our education. They don't care what could be happening at home.
Its horrible. They tell you that they care about your mental health, but they clearly dont. They cant even punish people properly and dont consider students personal life.
This school has literally traumatised me could not care less about student well-being. After being told I could go to student support whenever I needed i too due to health, on multiple occasions I was told they were too busy too talk to me and locked me in a room on my own for two hours (after doing nothing wrong just crying because I was stressed) whilst having a pleasant conversation with a student who had just beaten someone up right outside the door. On another occasion I was also told they were to busy and I was left on my own with a pen and sheet of paper, while the support staff were just sat discussing their pay check in the room next to me! Certain teachers were nice to my face but I was told by a classmate the teacher said something rude about me in front of the entire class while I was absent. They only care about sports, not the inadequate food or poor classrooms ( however I do understand they have been doing it up- more sports facilities) there is so much more I’d like to say about the place that left in me in therapy. They really couldn’t care less about students, at least they didn’t a year ago (and I do hope they have improved)
Definitly needs refurbishing which i believe they are doing slowly, most teachers are lovely, however the student support team is lacking. The food needs improvements (undercooked chicken and spaghetti floating in grey water). The academic side of school is decent, however the learning enviroment itself is chaotic.
The learning is okay ig but there are a lot of things they don’t teach us about such as LGBTQIA+ sex education/history and stuff we need in real life like how to live on your own
school is very oppressive to certain communities especially the LGBTQ+ community, also say they dont tolerate bad language but let the boys say sexist comments
