we got little shits on year 10 that still be breastfeeding on there mum's tits and being bummed outside school by there uncle and we got girls with there hairline so far there dad should of pulled out quicker
This school is horrendously bad, I have had a lot of supply teachers the amount will shock you. Some of the teachers are rude especially Zoe Smith mainly she is racist and will just give detentions for the most stupidest things and whenever there's a fight she'll just listen to 1 persons story and not the others she's also unfair and rude.
I used to be a happy discord kid until i came to this school. THIS SCHOOL MADE ME LOCK MYSELF IN A BASEMENT AND TRAP MYSELF WITH A ROPE AND CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP. I now shove blades up my bum because of this school! Want anxiety and no help? Go to this school! ( homophobia and racism is never sorted)
Im so annoyed with ipswich academy. You have failed my Grandson terribly. You should be ashamed im ashamed of your Academy No support in place and dont understand issues or deal with them in a positive way.
I do hope my other grandchildren dont attend ipswich academy.
Private academy is No good all about ticking boxes. Suffolk county council best option now. Least they listen.
The school's great and I managed to get all A-Cs in my GCSEs in August so the teaching is going well. However, i did see people being bullied in the school sometimes right in front of teachers and they don't do anything but honestly most bullying is dealt with and it is taken very seriously. The teachers are nice and they care for the students' education. Classrooms can be a bit dirty and corridors can be quite cramped but overall this school is a 4/5
It is overall a good school burt I believe they really need to work on the level of respect given to the students. If their is an issue, most of the time the student never gets to explain their side of the story. It's appalling.
This schools support system for people with mental health is diabolical, they have no understanding on it whatsoever and instead of trying to listen they disregard your feelings. Although some teachers are nice, for the majority this school is awful and I would never send my own child to somewhere like this.
I am currently at this school and I absolutely hate it my class purposely exclude me from group activities, the school has caused my social anxiety and depression and there are only 3 staff members that deal with mental health one is only in twice a week, one isn’t allowed in and one is in once every 2 weeks, the teachers can’t deal with the students all they say is be quiet it’s too stressful and I can’t concentrate and don’t give out enough consequences and nobody turns up in the correct uniform and teachers don’t do anything about it the only positive is the school dinners
The school claims to be lgbtq+ friendly and even put up posters all over the school yet do nothing about students that are homophobic. They’re more concerned with low level chatter than they are with dealing with these low level issues now that will rise into much bigger ones in future. I’ve noticed how some teachers abuse their power with some whilst they favour others. However, some teachers at the school are good at their job and make the lessons endurable. In terms of bullying they don’t do a whole lot unless you are the one to insist they do something rather they notice the situation themselves. It’s not an environment as a student i feel safe or happy to come into and school becomes something to just get through because there’s no other option. When it comes to food there’s just never enough of the most popular choices. When this is complained about that there isn’t enough food we were told that there is enough. As students we aren’t being heard even with those meetings.
It’s inadequate. Even after years, it’s still inadequate. I’ve been there through the changes of sponsors and all, I’ve been there for when the ofsted reports went from bad to okay. And it felt like nothing had changed. It was as if the school got better at covering up their tracks of inadequacy. I understand how difficult it is to teach children, but this whole school is just reactive rather than proactive. Things will never change until they tackle underlying issues such as bullying, which of course they do not. Many things don’t get passed on, the communication between students and teachers is quite poor (even teachers and teachers have bad communication, it always feels like they don’t come to a consensus.)
I think that it is a good school. However, the floors are always dirty and classrooms could be bigger. Some students are homophobic, not many, but a few. Some act annoying and think that they are the best and speak too much slang and it gets on my nerves. It's a good school, 3 stars.
Teachers don't really care if your bullied etc. The classroom floors have dirt all over when you get there. Have to wear masks in the toilet so bacteria gets all over it. The students are racist, homiphonic and don't get punished usually. Teachers are alright some are really good
Eh could be better, teachers don’t actually care about bullying as much as they go on about it, things meant to be confidential arent very confidential, people outright homophobic or racist towards people never face consequences. The issue isn’t with teaching or academically, it’s with the students.
It's not that good. I can get through the day. Most teachers are annoying some are really nice. The school day feels longer than it should be and overall. 2 stars
it’s nothing special, the teachers are alright but they couldn’t care less if ur getting bullied, the food is mad expensive but it’s okay ish. not as bad as ppl say it is and there’s few clubs but they’re pretty gd. most people are nice to each other and it’s a fun environment to be in. the school is also kept tidy but it’s freezing in winter and boiling in summer.
